Founded in memory of a much-loved boy named Brody, this incredible charity is building an inclusive, safe and therapeutic space where families of children with additional needs, disabilities and complex medical conditions can connect and find support — without judgement.

In 2025, Brody's Trust achieved something extraordinary: securing the former Joys Green Primary School in Lydbrook to transform into a state-of-the-art Multi-Sensory Community Hub, made possible by volunteers and local businesses donating their time, skills and support.

A building full of love, hope and true inclusion — a lasting legacy for families across our community. Huge congratulations! 💛

STAY & PLAY

WHAT A SUCCESS! 💛

We just wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported our Stay & Play sessions!

We are so pleased to say that they went really well, and we have raised a fantastic amount for Brodys Trust! 💛

Every penny raised will help towards the future of Brodys Trust Hub and the work we do to support children and families. We honestly cannot thank everyone enough for coming along, supporting us, donating, volunteering and simply believing in what we are trying to achieve. It means more than you know. 🫶

And then came a very special little visitor…✨️

Some of you may know the significance of the dragonfly to us here at Brodys Trust. During one of our sessions, we were joined by this beautiful little dragonfly.

It may seem like a small moment to some, but to us, it touched a very special place in our hearts. 💙

Moments like this remind us exactly why we do what we do. Seeing children enjoying our spaces, families coming together and watching Brodys Trust grow makes every bit of hard work worthwhile. 🥹💛

Thank you for helping us make our vision for Brodys Trust Hub a reality. We couldn't do it without you. 🌟

We are so excited to introduce our new group... Talk, Tea & Tots!💛

A lovely mother and toddler group where little ones can play, explore and have fun using our soft play and sensory equipment, while parents and carers can enjoy a cuppa, relax and have a chat with others. 💛

A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO OUR LEWIS!

We are so proud that Lewis Chapman has been shortlisted for Forest Volunteer of the Year 2026!

Anyone who knows Brody’s Trust will know Lewis isn’t just our Treasurer and a Trustee. He is one of those people who simply gets stuck in.

And these photos pretty much sum him up!

Whether it’s looking after the finances, helping behind the scenes, turning up to events, getting his hands dirty at the Hub or being handed a drill and told there’s another job to do, Lewis is there.

So much of what happens at Brody’s Trust is only possible because people give up their own time to help us, and Lewis has given us a huge amount of his.

He probably won’t thank us for making a fuss about him, but this time we think he deserves it!

Now we need Team Brody’s Trust to get behind him.

Lewis has made the final shortlist and the winner is decided by a PUBLIC VOTE.

There’s loads going on throughout the day, including live music, garden games, stalls, a raffle, auction, BBQ-style food and plenty more.

It all kicks off from 12:30pm and carries on until late.
