So this week has been a bit different at home, as Robbie has been away on an epic adventure! Starting with climbing Ben Hope last weekend, then 500km by bike to finish with climbing Ben Lomond tomorrow, Robbie and a group from school have been working hard all week. They are raising money for Perth Food Bank. If you would like to donate, you can through their Just Giving page (see comment below).

Getting to know us!

Hello - I'm Elaine, a sports therapist at Perth Physio Clinic. I provide sports therapy and sports massage at our Blairgowrie clinic in Barr Fitness, and at the Perth clinic. I retrained as a sports therapist in 2021 after a 20-year long career in archives and records management. I love working with people to help restore physical function and well-being. Over the last couple of years, running the clinic's ESCAPE-pain programme has been really rewarding work. Through it, we have helped many people to better manage chronic joint pain and I'm so proud of our wee supportive ESCAPE-pain community. When I'm not in the clinic, I'm doing sideline work transcribing oral history interviews, and I reckon I'll be in the garden weeding ground elder until my dying day, but there's no place I'd rather be than up a hill with my daft but very lovely springer spaniel.

Getting to know us!

I’m Glen, and I began my journey in Sports Therapy after completing my HND in Sports Therapy in 2025. I am now continuing my professional development by working towards my Sports Therapy degree, further developing my knowledge and practical experience within the field.

I currently work across the Blairgowrie and Pitlochry clinics, where I support clients with sports massage to help reduce muscle tightness, aid recovery, and improve overall performance.

Outside of Sports Therapy, I compete in boxing and have been involved in the sport for around ten years. I enjoy staying active and spending time in the gym.

I'm Heather, and I've been working at Perth Physio Clinic since I completed my MSc Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in 2024. Prior to my physiotherapy degree, I qualified with a First Class Honours in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2021. I work across our Perth and Pitlochry clinics, and take our Upper Limbs rehabilitation classes.

Outside of physiotherapy, I am an on-call firefighter and enjoy staying active through the gym, running and cycling. I am competing in my first solo Hyrox event in just a few weeks, and I am using this opportunity to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
