I’m not sure where this post is going but it’s a honest one…
In 2015 we opened. Eager to make a difference to peoples life’s.
As a personal trainer I could see the impact I had on people. Whether it was confidence from building strength, fitness or losing a few lbs and how that made them feel.
The trouble was it felt like a drop in the ocean…
How can I help more people, how can I scale this without losing the personal touch and still deliver the message.
The scaling was Club 300. Capped to 300 people to maintain the personal touch. Coaches committed to avoiding fads and looking to support people the right way.
The message became our 3 pillars… Mindset Movement Macros.
I genuinely thought we could help everyone… they just have to commit to the process.
Over the years it became clear, we can’t. People have to be ready to change and if they aren’t you just have to be ready to support them when they are.
At first that felt like failure. In the end it was actually personal development. Instead of taking it personally, it gave me better understanding of when to push and when to pull back.
Everything we do at Club 300 is based around just that. Meeting people where they are, providing structure, support and accountability so they don’t have to think too much about it.
Turn up, trust the process and be ready to open up and ask the right questions… we won’t feed you fads or ‘I heard this could be good’!
We provide evidence based information around training and nutrition and sometimes we don’t shout enough about it… partly I think that’s because we are up against a mountain of sexy fads. The truth is the simple stuff isn’t sexy.
However, we need to stay true to our values.
In 2026 we are still delivering the same message continuing the same original goal (slightly tweaked) … help as many people as possible, who are ready to make a change 🙌🏻
(The last image is just to show a younger me before 11 years of inflation and rising costs!) 😅
FYI - if you want to get started you have about 24 hours to join our 6 week programme!
