My name is Wendy and I am an experienced Reflexologist and Complementary Therapist based in Caerphilly, South Wales, and a firm believer in taking an holistic approach to healing. Through my practice, I offer a range of alternate holistic treatments for women, men and children that are aimed at reducing stress, tension and anxiety to help align and promote well-being in order to keep the mind, bod

y and spirit healthy. I started on my holistic journey in July 2019, when I decided I needed to do something for myself which I knew I would truly enjoy, and which would enable me to help others. So in July 2019 I enrolled on a VTCT Level 3 Reflexology course at Coleg y Cymoedd, Nantgarw, and currently studying Aromatherapy and Massage at Coleg Gwent, Crosskeys.

☀️ Red Heat Alert – Wednesday & Thursday ☀️

With the red heat alert in place for tomorrow and Thursday, I wanted to reassure my clients that Balancing Touch Complementary Therapies will remain open for all booked appointments.

Thankfully, my treatment room usually stays nice and cool, helping to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment during the hotter weather.

However, your wellbeing and safety are always my top priority. If you are finding the heat too much and would prefer to reschedule your appointment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can arrange an alternative date.

Hot flushes, night sweats, brain fog, anxiety, poor sleep, forgetfulness, low mood, restless legs, fatigue and aching joints can all be part of the menopause journey.

I know because I’ve been there myself. The hot flushes were one of the worst symptoms for me. Standing talking to someone and suddenly feeling a wave of heat sweep through my body was uncomfortable and, at times, quite embarrassing.
