from going to my first ever yoga class due to crippling anxiety at uni😣

to now. today’s waves of life’s ups and downs.

yoga is my anchor.
a place that holds me when unsteady,
carries me when I forget strength,
gently guiding me home to myself.

through every rise and every fall,
it has been there… steady, grounding, unwavering.
something I turn to through it all.

not just a practice,
but a way of being.

i’m so grateful to my best friend who told me to try yoga when I needed it🤍

beyond the poses, we’re working with the mind, the nervous system, the energy body.
honouring the 8 limbs of yoga, not just one.

i held a beginners yoga class last week and the feedback was ‘I felt emotional during the breathwork’ ‘I feel so relaxed’ ‘it was hard to empty my mind’.

and that’s because we spend so much of our time giving out our energy, rushing from one thing to the next, processing so much information/thoughts & we become distracted easily.

so when we do take time to pause, to slow down & turn inwards - it can feel tricky, and its emotional because as we turn the gaze inwards we notice what’s going on inside & the relationship to self.

deep down we know we deserve to give ourselves that 1hr practice, those deep breaths, that 10 minute meditation.

to be fully present🪷✨

I get so many messages from people with the same worry!🤍

“I’m nervous to come to class because I feel like people will watch me, judge me, or see that I’m not doing the poses ‘right.’”

Which is completely valid, but the truth is, everyone is too focused on their own practice to judge yours - and this workshop is your reminder that yoga isn’t about how it looks, but how it feels🧘‍♀️

A completely judgement-free space for beginners and ANYONE wanting to return to the foundations.
We’ll break down alignment, explore poses you’re unsure about, build confidence, and finish with simple tools you can take away to calm your mind and body.
