MPower Clinic is ONE! 🥹🎂✨
One year ago today, the website went live, bookings opened and MPower Clinic officially became real.
But the idea started long before that, on a night shift in hospital, when the name MPower first came to me.
After already working in medical aesthetics, I knew I wanted to create a clinic of my own, but I never wanted it to be all about me. I could have called it “Dr Mäla Aesthetics”, but I wanted the name to represent the people I was creating it for.
The M came from Mäla, but MPower came from the ethos behind the clinic: to empower people to feel confident in themselves, while still looking like themselves.
And from that little idea, MPower Clinic grew 🥹
A year later, I sometimes have to remind myself how much has happened.
MPower has evolved enormously, but its principles haven’t changed: medicine first, no pressure to have treatments you don’t need, natural results, safety and long-term outcomes over short-lived trends, and always taking the time to genuinely get to know the person sitting in my chair.
To everyone who supported MPower from those first weeks, thank you for putting your trust in me and the clinic I was creating 🤍
To every patient who has returned, recommended me, left a review, shared a post or simply told a friend about us, you have helped build MPower into what it is today.
And to the wonderful people and businesses I work alongside who have supported me, celebrated the wins and become my little work family, thank you 🫶
There have been long days, late nights and plenty of learning curves, but also so many moments where I’ve stopped in awe and thought, I actually built this.
And that feels pretty special.
One year down, and we’re only just getting started.
Maybe by our five-year anniversary I’ll be writing this from MPower’s very own flagship clinic, with an expanded team around me… 👀✨ A girl can dream, although this year has taught me those dreams have a funny way of becoming plans.
Happy 1st Birthday, MPower Clinic 🥂🎂
Thank you for helping turn an idea from a hospital night shift into something very real 🤍
