We check our phones, diaries, bank balances...but when did you last check your blood pressure?

It's Know Your Numbers Week and we're encouraging everyone to check their blood pressure so they can take steps to protect your health and live a longer, healthier life.

It's been estimated that medicines wasted in England last year could have filled up 75 swimming pools!

Wasting medicines has a significant environmental impact. Once they have left the pharmacy, they can’t be reused or recycled, adding to pollution and harming wildlife.

Please only order what you need next time you fill out your repeat prescription, and don't put unused medicines in household waste - take them back to your pharmacy to be disposed of properly.

September is Urology Awareness Month 💙

Urology Awareness Month is an opportunity to raise awareness of urological conditions and the importance of maintaining good urological health.

Urological diseases can affect people of all ages and can have a significant impact on physical health and quality of life. Increasing awareness, encouraging people to recognise potential symptoms and supporting timely access to appropriate healthcare are important steps towards improving outcomes.

Throughout September, we are supporting conversations around urological health and helping to raise awareness of the support and information available.

For more information about Urology Awareness Month, please visit The Urology Foundation.

Urology Awareness Month is an annual campaign taking place in September to raise awareness of urology diseases. It is run by The Urology Foundation.

Those who are pregnant, children aged 2 to 3 years, school-aged children (Reception to Year 11) and children with certain long-term health conditions can now have their vaccine, and others at higher risk will be eligible from 1 October.
