Fever, cough, sore throat, headache and body aches may feel like “just another flu”but symptoms alone cannot always confirm whether it is H1N1. 🦠

H1N1 is a subtype of the influenza A virus. When H1N1 is suspected, a molecular test such as RT-PCR examines a respiratory sample for the virus’s genetic material.

An H1N1 test can help:

✅ Confirm an H1N1 infection
✅ Distinguish influenza from similar respiratory infections
✅ Support timely and informed treatment decisions
✅ Guide care for people at higher risk of complications

Testing may be particularly important for young children, older adults, pregnant women and people with asthma, diabetes, heart disease, chronic respiratory conditions or weakened immunity.

Respiratory samples are ideally collected early after symptoms begin. Therefore, consult a doctor promptly if you develop flu-like symptoms or have been exposed to someone with a confirmed infection.

Seek urgent medical attention if you experience difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain or pressure, confusion, severe weakness, dehydration, or symptoms that improve and then suddenly worsen.

Do not self-medicate or wait for the condition to become severe. If H1N1 is suspected, speak with your healthcare provider and get tested as advised.

Book your H1N1 Test with Redcliffe Labs.

Early clarity can support timely and appropriate care.

Rakhi is more than a thread, a ritual, or one day on the calendar. It’s all the little, unspoken rules that make siblings… siblings. ❤️
Welcome to the Unwritten Sibling Rulebook.

The moment your sibling says “Don’t tell Mum”, Mum somehow already knows.
Because in every Indian home, some secrets have a very short shelf life.

Their charger? Yours.
Their hoodie? Yours.
Your stuff? Apparently theirs too.

The sibling rulebook has very questionable property laws.

You can argue over absolutely nothing for 20 minutes…
and still ask, “Want anything?” when ordering food.

Because sibling fights have one very important rule: they never cancel the food order.

Left you on seen?
Okay. Fine.
You are now legally allowed three more calls. 📞

Because siblings don’t believe in giving up that easily.

You don’t always need them to say something’s wrong.
Sometimes, you just notice.

That’s the thing about siblings you know the little changes they think they’re hiding.

“Take care” rarely sounds like take care.

Sometimes it sounds like:
“Reached?” “Ate?” “Got that checked?”

Because some people don’t just say they care. They notice.

Raksha Bandhan, celebrate the little things the fights, the secrets, the food orders, the checking in, and the quiet ways siblings show up.

Because that’s what makes siblinghood siblinghood. ❤️

Beyond the Ritual.

Feeling off lately? Your body might be trying to tell you something. Fatigue, low energy or hair fall can sometimes be linked to vitamin deficiencies. Don’t ignore the signs understand what your body needs.

Constantly tired, struggling to focus or noticing more hair fall than usual? Weak nails and frequent infections can also be signs worth paying attention to. Your body often speaks before a deficiency shows up on a report.

Your vitamin levels can be affected by more than just what’s on your plate. Diet, limited sunlight, gut health, certain medicines and increased nutritional needs can all play a role.

Vitamin deficiencies can affect anyone, but some people may be more vulnerable including older adults, vegetarians, pregnant women and those with digestive conditions. Knowing your risk is the first step to better care.

Feeling the symptoms doesn’t tell you exactly what’s causing them. Different deficiencies can look alike, which is why testing can help uncover what your body actually needs.

If symptoms persist or you’re at higher risk, don’t keep guessing. Talk to your doctor and find out whether testing is right for you.

Before you start taking supplements, know what your body actually needs. Get tested, get informed and make the right choice for your health with Redcliffe Labs.

The health stories making headlines with a closer look at what they mean for you.
Welcome to Redcliffe Labs’ Health Edition: where we go beyond the headline to bring health into focus.

36 tonnes of adulterated food items. 130 establishments inspected.
A major crackdown in Hyderabad has put food adulteration back in the spotlight and raised an important question: do we really know what’s on our plate?

The label said “100% pure.” The investigation told another story.
With palm oil, vanaspati, starch and other additives reportedly found in products sold as pure ghee, the bigger concern is what consumers can’t see.

₹35 lakh+ worth of suspected adulterated ghee and oils seized in Gujarat.
Authorities have intensified action against food adulteration with samples sent for laboratory testing to uncover what’s really in the products.

It’s bigger than ghee.
Food adulteration can affect everything from spices and dairy to edible oils and processed foods. What looks familiar on the shelf may not always tell the whole story.

The biggest risk may be the one you can’t see.
Adulterated food can look, smell and taste normal while hidden substances may pose health concerns over time. That’s why testing matters.

Safe and pure food isn’t a privilege. It’s your right.
From food safety standards to consumer reporting mechanisms, India has systems in place to protect consumers. Know the rules. Check the label. Speak up.

From what looks pure to what is actually pure.
Labels and appearances can only tell you so much. Laboratory testing can uncover hidden adulterants and help verify what’s really in the food we eat.
