Meet Aly 👋🏽🏃‍♀️

Aly is a special education teacher and soccer coach from Arizona who began her Six Star Journey back in 2016  and now she’s preparing to take on the TokyoMarathon 2027 with realbuzz. 🇯🇵✨

She’s fundraising for a charity using the power of running to improve gender equality around the world. Aly believes every girl and woman deserves the right to run safely and freely - a mission that deeply resonates with her own passion for sport and community. ❤️

After being sidelined by injury for five months, Aly is focused on rebuilding a strong foundation through running and strength training ahead of Tokyo. While the challenge of racing in a new continent brings nerves, she’s excited to experience Japan’s incredible culture and take on another Abbott World Marathon Majors. 🌏

Moments like this are why we’re proud to support the as the International Charity Partner for 2027 🇯🇵 helping incredible runners like Aly make every mile matter through the power of charity fundraising.
