Looking back at such a beautiful and
deep ceremony last month

A celebration of Beltane 🌸
and my first event again after a year’s pause.

A big thank you to JORINDE for her beautiful voice and songs- for creating together!

This day was filled with so many paradoxes.

And big teachings for me as a facilitator.

Next to profound experiences and insights for many
for the first time ever
I also received negative experiences from participants.

In a way after 7 years a surprise
that has not happened sooner.

And for my ego it was a challenge to see the good,
take the lessons, and to not let this dampen my trust in what I DO have to bring with sharing these spaces.

A lot of my learnings are on communication
and creating an even safer container.

Something I until now had only received praise for.
And now I know what to improve 😊

An eye opener to also see that what happens in the groups I huis has also deepened with time, and the surrounding framework needs to adjust to that.

Always learning,
Never ‘done’ or arrived.

Month of April

Month of receiving and enjoying life - recharging in nature, soaking up the sun and so much more…

1. Mullerthal trail - weekend walk with a dear friend
(it’s so magical I will make a post just for that one day)

2. Such a gift- I got invited to guide & Space Crew in a Breathwork Journey with cacao and sparkles ✨ ✨✨and then they made music 🥰🙏🏻

3. Next day we saw them all live
Their music- timing… my favorite track from@the last album ‘Luna’.

4. Ibiza - experienced her a new way this time 5 star hotel experience - highly recommended 🌟

Our mothers are the cradle of all life
We have forgotten how to honor them
How to nourish them

When we remember

I felt contracted the last weeks

Several things were changing
A piece of security unexpectedly moved
And I feel more big shifts are on the horizon
This month

I got stuck in fear and the need to control.

Perhaps you recognize this?
It’s happens to all of us.

Finally I was able to breathe
To trust and surrender
Everything is working out

It’s not the end’

Last video on EMDR

Why is working on trauma’s so important?

I believe that it is really important to work through the things that we have within us.

What I’ve experienced myself is that it created more ease and more joy in my life, by going into the deeper parts within myself.

Getting my whole body, the physiology and stress system back into a more relaxed state.

When we’re storing trauma in our body this is effecting digestive systems, our breathing, our sleep and also how we interpret the things that we’re seeing.

We may be seeing more danger or negativity than what’s necessary.

The more safe we will, the more possibilities we see and then daring to take more risks.

When we’re choosing to face those things, initially it’s taking some energy, but ultimately by moving through it we’re moving blockages within our systems that are actually draining our energetic system.

When working with EMDR, it’s important to do this with embodiment. I always invite my clients to stay present in their bodies and to connect to the physical sensations.

I see that staying in the body helps to move through the trauma with a lot more softness and self-compassion.

Pfieuw…. This 📕 book!
My holiday read on Ibiza 🌞🌊 🏝️

Will you walk with me, all the way to the river?

Meaning all the way to my darkest edges,
And all the way to death, the river that awaits us all when this life ends?

This book is all about that kind of love.

But even more about how we as humans
have our own wounding - needs for love and attention

Our own addictions, to attention,
love, s*x and substances.

How closely related they all are.

As
author of explains: ‘LAVA’:

A destructive pattern of seeking Love, Attention, Validation, and Acceptance from others to fill an internal void.

This behavior involves manipulating others and self-abandonment to feed an addiction to external validation, often treating people as stimulants or sedatives.

How often do you use people,
friends, lovers, dates in this way?

Or food and substances?

I’m by now means ‘clean’ in either area.
But I feel the past years a deeper independence from people or my loves for coffee and sweets are becoming so much more conscious, and in that process their pull being released.

Consciously choosing not to engage
from a place of filling a void.

Moving away from boredom or emotional pain.

After reading this book it’s clear,
you don’t need to be a ju**ie to
be using things outside yourself
to fix the internal holes we all have.

Definitely recommend this beautiful book!
