What a century of stories, strength, and sparkle ✨

Today we celebrate an extraordinary milestone - 100 wonderful years of Ms. Truman. A true treasure in our community, Ms. Truman has lived through generations of change, carrying with her wisdom, warmth, and a lifetime of memories that continue to inspire us all.

Her special day was made even brighter by a visit from the amazing students of Akaroa Area School, who filled the room with joy. The smiles, laughter, and connection between young and young-at-heart was something truly special - a beautiful reminder of the strength of our community.

Ms. Truman, your 100 years are a remarkable achievement and a legacy to be proud of. Thank you for sharing your journey with us - we are so lucky to celebrate alongside you.

Today we celebrate International Nurses Day 💙

Where would we be without nurses? Honestly, nowhere good.

At Akaroa Health, our nurses are the steady hands and calm voices at the centre of everything we do. They show up with skill, compassion, and quiet strength, day after day. They care for our community in ways that go far beyond clinical work, supporting people through some of their most vulnerable moments.

There really aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for our incredible nursing team. You are caring, kind, resilient, and deeply committed to the people of this community.
