It's Daffodil Day this Friday.

Daffodil Day helps fund support services that can make the hardest moments a little less lonely, including accommodation during treatment, local check-ins, and access to counselling and practical support.

Thank you to the Cancer Society Auckland and those nationwide including every volunteer, collector, and donor making a difference.

Keep an eye out for local events in East Auckland, including Daffodil's for sale tomorrow Highbrook Business Park as well as a Vintage Car Club display in Flatbush this Sunday.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Franklin Fung to our Ormiston Medical team. Dr Fung joins us after the sale of Vincent Street Family Doctors, a practice he co-owned and led alongside Dr Charles Williams for many years. The clinic at 80 Vincent Street, Howick is now closed, however patients will have seamless continuation of care here at Ormiston Medical.

East Care Urgent Care is now open until 1am, every night.

We can now keep our doors open through the evening! If you arrive by 11pm, we'll have time to look after you, and you'll be seen at our standard rates.

East Care is now open until 1am - starting TODAY!

I know how stressful it can be when something urgent comes up late at night and you’re not sure where to turn. South and East Auckland families now have another trusted place to go when they need care most.

This is exactly what putting patients first looks like - making sure the right services are available at the right time, right here in our community.

It’s all part of National’s plan to fix the basics and build the future.

🚨 Know someone with severe allergies? This could save a life.

🔥 Burned yourself cooking? Act fast. 🔥

Whether you burned yourself grabbing a hot pan or with boiling water, you run the risk of scarring and other complications, such as skin infections and pain. A burn causes damage that results in the death of skin cells. It is important to provide prompt and efficient burn treatment.

Burns need to be dressed properly after being immediately cooled under tepid running water for 20 minutes. Depending on the location, mechanism, and size of the burn, you may want to have this checked by a medical professional.
