💡 BLS–ACLS & FIRST AID TIP OF THE DAY!
Recovery Position Saves Lives

If a person is unconscious but breathing normally, place them in therecovery position to help keep the airway open and prevent choking. This position allows fluids to drain safely and reduces the risk of airway obstruction.

Remember: Proper positioning can protect the airway while waiting for emergency help.

Check breathing. Position safely. Monitor closely. đź’™

🚨 WHAT TO DO DURING A MASS CASUALTY INCIDENT?

When multiple victims are involved and manpower is limited, every second and every decision matter. In these situations, responders must stay calm, think clearly, and apply proper triage and prioritization to save as many lives as possible.

🩺 Key actions during a Mass Casualty Incident:
âś… Ensure scene safety first
âś… Perform rapid triage to identify critical patients
âś… Prioritize victims based on severity of injuries
âś… Manage airway, breathing, and severe bleeding immediately
âś… Use available resources wisely during limited manpower
âś… Communicate clearly and work as one team

In disaster situations, organized response and teamwork can make the difference between chaos and survival. đź’™

Be prepared. Stay trained. Save lives.

đźš‘ BTMC TIP OF THE DAY!
Not all bleeding is visible. In trauma patients, always assess for signs of internal bleeding such as pale skin, rapid pulse, low blood pressure, abdominal swelling, or altered mental status. Early recognition can prevent shock and save lives.

Remember: A stable patient can deteriorate quickly if hidden bleeding is missed.

Assess thoroughly. Monitor closely. Act early. đź’™

🚑 BLS–ACLS TIP OF THE DAY!
When giving rescue breaths, always watch for visible chest rise. If the chest does not rise, reposition the airway and try again. Proper ventilation ensures oxygen reaches the lungs effectively during resuscitation.

Remember: Too much air or poor airway positioning can reduce the effectiveness of CPR.

Open the airway. Deliver effective breaths. Save a life. đź’™
