đ What actually happens at a menopause consultation?
We start with your story.
What has changed? When did it begin? How does it affect your sleep, work, relationships, and daily life? What would feeling better look like for you?
We review your medical history, medications, menstrual pattern, and treatment risks. Testing is selected when it can help answer a clinical questionâfor example, whether thyroid disease or iron deficiency could be contributing.
A single ânormalâ hormone result doesnât rule out perimenopause. Hormones fluctuate, and diagnosis often depends on symptoms and menstrual history.
Together, we build a plan that may include hormone therapy, nonhormonal treatment, nutrition, strength training, and sleep support.
Then we reassess. Your response matters.
