Take action now! patients deserve modern care.

Right now, lawmakers are considering the Access to Prescription Digital Therapeutics Act (H.R. 3288 / S. 1702), which would help close an access gap for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries by creating a new benefit category and expanding Medicare coverage to include prescription digital therapeutics.

📢 AMCP Press Release: AMCP thanks the Ways and Means Committee for advancing the Main Street Pharmacy Access Act (H.R. 3164 / S. 2426, formerly ECAPS), a key advocacy priority for AMCP.

This legislation improves access to pharmacist-provided testing and treatment for Medicare beneficiaries — in states that already authorize pharmacists to perform these services.

This progress reflects strong engagement from AMCP members who connected with lawmakers through Legislative Days and grassroots advocacy to help move this issue forward.

👉 We are especially grateful to members of the Ways and Means Committee Reps. Adrian Smith, Brad Schneider, Diana Harshbarger, and Doris Matsui for their leadership on this important effort.

Take action now! Patients can’t lose care.

Right now, lawmakers are considering the Ensuring Community Access to Pharmacist Services (ECAPS) Act (H.R. 3164/ S.2426), which would help ensure patients can continue to rely on pharmacists for essential services like testing and treatment for COVID‑19, RSV, and the flu. Your voice can strengthen readiness for future public health threats.
