Tonight, with my client's full permission, I'm sharing a glimpse of her Reiki Healing Session. My hope in sharing this story is that it touches something deep within you--a gentle reminder that healing is not only possible, but that we are often being lovingly guided toward wholeness in ways far beyond what we can understand.
My client is thoughtful, kind, adventurous and creative. With a heart of gold and a smile that brightens any room, she is a lover of life. She is also a caregiver for her mom, who has dementia. This session allowed my client to anchor into the energy of rest and recalibration, while opening to receive messages of guidance and support from Spirit and loved ones from across the veil.
After releasing emotional heaviness and attuning my client to feeling open and light as a feather....I began realigning my client's Chakras. While in my client's Crown Chakra, I was shown how she feels fragmented, depicted as scattered jigsaw puzzle pieces, her daily routines centered around meeting her mother's ever-changing needs with love and grace. Her Aunt, in spirit, indicates that she's been sending my client "happy distractions" in the form of stray kittens (she's currently caring for two kittens!). I was also shown angel numbers 44 and 55.
In her Third Eye Chakra, my client had two male energies come forward-- her father and her brother. Her brother showed me "chopper" style motorcycles, referenced the movie, Easy Rider, and highlighted 1975-76 and 1978 as significant. He also showed how he passed in a motorcycle accident, affirming that it was sudden and he was not in any pain. Her father walked with her past several trees in various stages of growth, noting that each season brings changes and purpose. He encouraged my client to "root" like a tree, noting that whatever nourishment is needed will come to her in this challenging season.
While working in my client's Solar Plexus, her maternal grandmother visited, giving my client Black-Eyed Susan Flowers, which represent resilience and inner-strength as these flowers can flourish in challenging conditions. Moving into my client's Sacral Chakra, which often appears as a garden space to me, my client was planting seeds... Black Eyed Susans! I saw my client planting the same seeds, day after day, wondering why there was no growth, no harvest. She was being shown how planting the same seeds every day is her caring for her mother, validating that she's exactly where she's meant to be right now. Turns out, she has been planting these wildflowers all summer long!
Moving to the Root Chakra, I connected with my client's mother's energy. I heard piano music playing in the house and her mother was looking at a younger picture of her husband, noting how handsome he is and also a photo of her mother. I saw her sleeping around 16 hours every day and feeling unsteady on her feet. I also saw my client thinking about moving next year and was shown suitcases packed for travel in May. She confirmed all messages received. Remember... healing is ageless and timeless. The soul is never too old or too late to awaken, release, transform and begin again. As I finished typing this story, the clock changed to 5:55 and a red Cardinal appeared at my window feeder. ❤️
