Some of you are living life in 5th and 6th gear…
and wondering why your body won’t just “calm down.”

But sweet friend—
you don’t go from survival mode to peace overnight.

And I see this every single day in my work…
because helping women regulate their nervous system
is actually one of the hardest parts of healing.

Not because you’re unwilling—
but because you’ve been in “go mode” since you were 15.

🤍 Always pushing
🤍 Always achieving
🤍 Always carrying more than you were meant to

🚗 It’s like driving a stick shift.

I can’t take you from 6th gear and slam you into neutral.
That’s when the car jerks… or stalls.

And it’s the same with your body.

So I won’t just tell you to “relax.”
Because if your nervous system doesn’t feel safe yet…
that feels impossible.

Instead… we downshift.
Gently. Intentionally. With grace.

✨ 5 → 4
• Eat your meals sitting down, without multitasking
• Step into the morning sun and let God meet you there
• Play worship music instead of a podcast

✨ 4 → 3
• Go for a slow walk and notice creation around you
• Clean your kitchen… but slowly, without rushing
• Breathe deep while reminding your body: “I am safe”

✨ 3 → 2
• Do something creative—coloring, baking, journaling—without a timeline
• Sit with your coffee a little longer than feels productive
• Put your hand on your heart and thank God for sustaining you

✨ 2 → 1
• Rest without earning it
• Be still, even if it feels unfamiliar
• Let peace feel… okay

This is how healing happens.

Not by forcing stillness—
but by teaching your body, little by little,
that it’s safe to slow down.

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts…” 🤍

You don’t have to slam on the brakes.
You just have to trust Him enough to downshift.

Not every choice has to be *perfect* to be powerful.

Today for lunch?
A turkey burger + veggies… from a plastic bag.

Was it perfect? No.
Was it grown in my backyard, massaged by the sun, and harvested with love? Also no.
Was it cooked in a cast iron pan? No.
But was it **better than McDonald’s?** Absolutely.

And this is the conversation I have with my patients every single day:

✨ Not good vs bad
✨ Not all or nothing
✨ But **good → better → best**

Because the truth is…
If you keep waiting for “best,” you’ll often fall back to “worst.”

But choosing **better** consistently?
That’s where healing happens. That’s where momentum builds. That’s where your body starts to trust you again.

So if today looks like:
• Store-bought instead of fast food
• Protein instead of skipping meals
• A walk instead of a workout

You’re doing better than you think.

And better… adds up 🤍

Today we pause… not for the sales, not for the long weekend, but for the sacrifice. 🤍

Memorial Day is a sacred reminder that freedom was never free. It was carried on the backs of brave men and women who said “yes” to serving others—just as Christ did.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13 ✨

Today, I’m holding space for the families who carry both pride and grief… for the mothers, wives, daughters, and loved ones whose hearts will always feel the weight of that sacrifice.

May we live softer, love deeper, and walk more gratefully in the freedom we’ve been given.

Lord, we thank You for the courage of those who served and gave everything. Cover their families in Your peace, and remind us to never take this gift for granted. 🇺🇸

What if I told you…
working with me might mean doing *less* — not more?

Less overtraining.
Less restriction.
Less punishing your body into “health.”

And instead…
more nourishment.
more rest.
more rhythm with how God actually designed your body to function 🤍

Because healing your gut, supporting your thyroid, and restoring your metabolism was never meant to come from burnout.

It comes from:
fueling your body *enough*
strengthening (not stressing) your system
balancing your hormones
and trusting that your body is not working against you — it’s working *for* you

When you give your body what it’s been asking for all along…
weight loss becomes a side effect, not the obsession.

You were never meant to live exhausted, inflamed, and underfed.

You were created to feel energized, nourished, and whole.

And sometimes healing looks like eating more, slowing down, and finally doing things differently ✨

Morning sunshine + wild bed head + vibration plate ministry 😂☀️

She said “let everything that has breath PRAISE the Lord”… and apparently that includes a full body shake before breakfast 🙌🏼

But honestly—this is your reminder that God’s design is so simple and so good:
Morning sun helps set your circadian rhythm, supports cortisol balance, boosts mood, and tells your body it’s time to wake up 🌞

Nothing heals my nervous system faster than hearing little feet run toward me like I’m their whole world.

The laundry can wait. The emails can wait. These moments are holy.

Sunshine, giggles, sticky hands, and being present — this is health too.

A slower life. A softer heart. A home filled with peace.

Thank You Jesus for letting me be their safe place. ✨

There will always be dishes in the sink.
Emails waiting to be answered.
Laundry to fold.
A to-do list asking for more of me.

But this morning, I chose the front porch.
The sunshine on my skin.
Tiny voices giggling beside me.
Little hands reaching for mine.

And in that quiet moment, I felt the Lord remind me:
Presence is powerful.

So often we rush through life trying to “get everything done,” while missing the very moments God placed right in front of us. Healing isn’t always found in another supplement, another productivity hack, or another task checked off the list. Sometimes healing looks like slowing down enough to breathe deeply, soak in the sunlight, regulate your nervous system, and simply *be present*.

Jesus was never rushed.
He noticed people.
He paused.
He sat with others.
He made space for connection.

As women, mothers, and caretakers, we carry so much. But your body was not designed to live in constant stress mode. Your hormones, nervous system, digestion, and heart all thrive when you create moments of peace, safety, and connection.

Today’s reminder:
The dishes can wait.
The inbox can wait.
Your babies won’t always be little.

Choose presence.
Choose peace.
Choose the moments God is inviting you into. ☀️🤍
