September means Back to school! This month we are focusing on getting our brains to work better, and keeping healthy as we start mingling with more people.

Tea of the Month: Get Smart and Focus
featuring our herb of the month Eleuthero Root!!
I made the Get Smart tea as a tea alternative to our 3Gs Tincture. Its a yummy mixture of Peppermint, Gotu Kola, Eluthero Root, Lemongrass, Ginseng, Licorice, Calendula, He Shou Wu, Damiana, Ginkgo
Full of adaptogens and herbs that help us with our brain function (I think we all need that these days)
This is my mothers favorite tea that we make. She does one cup a day
Tincture of the month
3Gs+
I initially made our 3Gs tincture for me. I had finally come to the conclusion that the fact that I have multiple projects all sitting around and none of them completed, means that I might have a little ADD (attention deficit disorder). I also am not a morning person so I prefered my days to start at 11 am (which doesn't work as a business person). so i knew i needed herbs that would help me focus to actually complete a project, and a herb for energy to get up in the morning (which is the Eluethero Root).
When we discovered that Kevin's mother was starting with dementia and Alzheimer's, we gave Mary the 3Gs to help her and it was working great till she had to be put in a facility where they would only give her pharmaceuticals that the dr prescribed.
I named the tincture 3Gs, because all the ingredients started with a G. Gotu Cola, Gingko, and Siberian Ginseng.
After doing a little bit more research, I added Brahmi (Bacopa) and Rhodiola to it for an apoptogenic powerhouse.
This is the ultimate tincture for every day use. Adaptogens help the body deal with stress on a cellular level.
