Brushing every morning (after breakfast) is for your friends…because nobody likes stinky breath. Brushing every night (after all snacks and drinks other than water) is for your future, because sugar bugs love to do their sneakiest work while you’re sleeping.

And yes…Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday.

Ready for your dental fortune 🔮? Follow the line to learn your future…

Let’s talk good oral hygiene habits:
✅ Brush two times a day, every single day. After breakfast in the morning and after all snacks/non-water drinks at night.
✅ Brush for two whole minutes every time. Set a timer or play your favorite song. It’s longer than you think.
✅ Always brush with a fluoridated toothpaste, even as a little one. Before a child can spit really well, it should be no more than a tiny, rice sized amount. If you prefer an alternate, look for one with nanohydroxyapatite. Best toothpaste? Whichever your child likes best. 😀
✅ Spinbrush or manual brush? Whichever your child likes best. 😀
✅ Floss your teeth every day. Kiddos should start once they have teeth that are touching.
✅ Floss sticks or floss string? Whichever your child likes best. 😀 Water picks aren’t usually a substitute for flossing.
✅ Come see the dentist twice a year

Wrapping up the first week of summer feeling like…

Happy Friday, everyone! Remember to wear your mouth guards and bike helmets and all that good stuff (yes, the summer pediatric dental traumas are already rolling in) but go out and have some fun in the Denver sun.

Huggies: Weighted animals for our patients that need a little extra love during an appointment
Fidgets: For anyone who needs a little distraction or sensory support
Portable instruments: So that we can meet the patient wherever they are
Headphones: All of our chairs have an overhead TV, headphones, and lots of choices
Dance Party Button: 30 seconds to get the wiggles out
Flavored Noses: So that our silly gas smells even better
Unicorns & Monkeys: Fun demo toys to practice brushing, flossing, and being a dentist
