Congratulations to the Cherokee Lady Braves and the Robbinsville Lady Knights for winning their regional matches Tuesday to advance to the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Volleyball State Championships. State title play for both teams happens Saturday at Gilbert Craig Gore Arena on the campus of Campbell University in Buies Creek. Cherokee takes on Manteo High School at 1:30 p.m. for the 2A championship, and Robbinsville faces Creedmoor's Falls Lake Academy at 4 p.m. for the 1A title. Best of luck to all the players, coaches and supporters! We're pulling for you!
