If could go back and tell 280 lb me one thing it would be THIS:

stop trying to find the motivation. it’s not coming. stop trying to tinker together the perfect diet. you won’t stick to it.

not in a mean way. just in a “you’ve been waiting for this for 10 years and you think it’d be here by now if it were coming” kind of way.

motivation is a visitor. identity is your life partner.

and the whole time I was waiting to feel ready, feel motivated, feel like doing it, I was operating as someone who fundamentally didn’t believe she could.

so of COURSE I kept quitting. I was just proving myself right.

the shift wasn’t a new plan, a new diet, it wasn’t even a new workout.

it was adapting and COMMITTING to the decision (uncomfortably, imperfectly, & on a random tuesday) that I was no longer someone who quit on herself.

That I was a woman who deserved the health she desired.

Whatever you believe is true, goes.

and then doing the actual identity work to make that stick when life tried to talk me out of it (and trust me it tried)

that’s what the FormHer guide is built walk you through.

ITS TIME TO GET COMFY WITH THE UNCOMFY:

+ BEING HUNGRY AT NIGHT
not starving, just not numbing myself to sleep with snacks anymore that got me to almost 300 lbs. going to bed with a stuffed tummy and waking up all groggy. I’ll be okay if my stomach is rumbling before bed. learning i could feel an urge and not obey it. stick to the plan, not my fleeting craving.

+ SAYING NO WITHOUT EXPLANATION
No is a complete sentence. no to second helpings. no to eating something just because everyone else was. no to old lifestyle decisions that pulled me out of rhythm with myself. no to the version of me that needed permission to choose differently.

+ PROGRESS TAKING A WHILE
not fixating on quick fixes or the high of dropping fast and crashing out over the scale not budging for a week. trusting the process and knowing that progress is still being made, even if the scale doesn’t say so.

slow enough that this actually became my life and something i could stick to long term.

all of these built self trust and compounding devotion within me. it made me more powerful than I could have realized. and it also taught me that true change all comes from WITHIN.

choosing a new version of yourself and sticking to that.

That’s why I created FormHer: the weight loss guide I wish I had when I started.

Most women are unknowingly choosing comfort over themselves every single day

One craving away from going off plan, one hard emotion away from the drive through, one social situation away from abandoning everything they said they wanted.

Constantly choosing the moment over the vision then wondering why nothing ever changes.

You cannot build the body or the life you want from a place of constantly abandoning yourself when things get uncomfortable.

Your body knows when you’re not showing up for it. Even when your mouth keeps saying “I’ll start Monday.” That’s why no amount of motivation is fixing it for some women. It’s so much deeper than finding the right diet or the perfect workout plan it’s about finally deciding that YOU are worth the temporary discomfort.

Most women don’t need another fresh start they need to stop choosing comfort over themselves.

More self trust, standards, devotion to the woman they’re becoming. More honesty about what’s actually not working.

I lost 100 lbs naturally because I finally decided I was no longer willing to keep abandoning myself just because it felt easier in the moment.

Your life is either reinforcing your standards or eroding them every single day.

at 280 lbs I was someone who genuinely craved fast food, late night snacks, and anything that felt like comfort 24/7.

the woman I became naturally gravitates toward meals that make her feel good. she craves the sweet potato. she actually wants the protein. not because she’s restricting but because she became someone who takes care of herself and this is just what that looks like.

japanese sweet potato. lean ground beef. cottage cheese.

the glow isn’t from the meal though it’s becoming someone who consistently chooses herself and that compounds.

the meal is just what that choice looks like on a random tuesday.

when your identity shifts, your cravings shift with it. your choices shift. your body shifts. your skin shifts. EVERYTHING shifts.

that’s what 105 lbs of consistently choosing yourself looks like from the outside.
