Stay Rooted!

Joy Evans, MSW (she/her) combines trauma-healing with sound and forest therapy to lead people out of the perpetual stress response, to reconnect with the details of the senses and return to clarity, centered self, and vibrancy. You, my friend, are worthy of rest, and I hope my videos bring you deep peace! All of my videos are invitations to slow down, connect with your heart, reset your nervous system, and notice the healing presence of nature. I post new videos regularly that inspire awe or joy and often mix nature’s rhythms with the calming sounds of my alchemy crystal singing bowls. Check out my Patreon community, Sound Healing Rooted in Nature, for access to short & longer videos + livestreams.

Take 30 seconds to reset with these gentle waves of the Salish Sea.

This Summer I’ve been so honored to facilitate small group sound healings at beachfronts with the sounds of the Salish Sea blending with my alchemy singing bowls. It’s an amazing Summer experience in the PNW.

It’s been sweet to play with the Salish Sea…the waves, the winds, the songs of the Great Blue Heron, Kingfisher, and Bald Eagles, as well as to play to the curious river otters and seals who popped up 💕🦭

Mount Shasta is magical anytime of the year; Hestia Magic is always a beautifully intentional space to rest. And there is something so potent and special when you slow down and sink into the energy of the root chakra of the earth at Samhain.

Join the Samhain Sabbatical at Hestia Magic Mount Shasta to:
✨ Slow down to recognize the rhythm of the seasons as a source of healing for your mind, body, and spirit;
✨ Connect to Mount Shasta’s root energy to embody the seasonal wisdom of Samhain;
✨ Stay grounded during energetic transition from Autumn’s water into Winter’s earth;
✨ Release ancestral trauma, tend your grief, and connect with ancestral healing;
✨ Open your heart to messages about your transitions, the unknown or the Void; and
✨ Deepen your practice of rest as you prepare for the dark half of the year.

Weaving together practices of Celtic contemplation, forest bathing, the celestial sounds of alchemy crystal singing bowls, and silence as medicine, this week offers your heart spaciousness and practices of listening to spirit.

Samhain’s powerful energy offers the chance for reflection on life’s transitions. You may be facing the grief of a loved one’s transition or you may be following your heart down a path that feels like stepping into the unknown. While the unknown and the void can feel overwhelming, all life comes from the darkness of the womb or earth.

We gather to find stability during transitions, leaning into the creative force of the void and the possibilities of

What type of rest does the caregiver in your live crave? Here are 4 ways you can give the gift of rest:

1. Solo Retreat
2. One-on-one Sound Healing
3. Guided Forest Bathing
4. Private Group Sound Healing

Practices of rest in solitude offer a structure where the focus is on personal intentions and energy. At other times, being with community helps us give ourselves permission to rest. Co-regulation can be a powerful gift, caring for each other as we care for ourselves.
