π§ β¨ As we head home from Phoenix, we've been reflecting on what an extraordinary privilege it was to attend the 7th World Parkinson Congress β and the gifts we are bringing back to our community are immeasurable. π
Here's what WPC 2026 gave us:
π¬ New Research & Knowledge β Our team attended world-class sessions on falls prevention, behavioral change, nutrition, exercise science, and the latest breakthroughs in Parkinson's care. We are coming home smarter and more inspired than ever.
π€ Connections That Matter β Our team had the privilege of meeting and reconnecting with so many extraordinary people this week β Jimmy Choi, Dominique Prins-KΓΆnig, Josefa "Ju" Domingos, Dr. Jori Fleisher, Dr. Lisa Oei and the PD-Connect team, Polly Dawkins and the Davis Phinney Foundation, the Kirk Gibson Foundation and Center teams, Naomi Casiro of NeuroFit BC, and so many more. Every conversation left us energized and inspired. β€οΈ
π Global Perspective β Seeing how the Parkinson's community shows up from every corner of the world reminded us that we are part of something so much bigger than ourselves β and that is both humbling and energizing.
π Validation of Our Work β Presenting our fall prevention research on a global stage and seeing the genuine interest it sparked confirmed what we have always believed β that community-based, evidence-based programming changes lives.
πͺ Renewed Purpose β More than anything, WPC reminded us WHY we do what we do every single day at InMotion. For our clients. For our community. For a world without Parkinson's disease.
We cannot wait to put everything we learned into action. Watch out, Beachwood β InMotion is coming home fired up! π₯β€οΈ
