🧠✨ As we head home from Phoenix, we've been reflecting on what an extraordinary privilege it was to attend the 7th World Parkinson Congress β€” and the gifts we are bringing back to our community are immeasurable. πŸ’™

Here's what WPC 2026 gave us:
πŸ”¬ New Research & Knowledge β€” Our team attended world-class sessions on falls prevention, behavioral change, nutrition, exercise science, and the latest breakthroughs in Parkinson's care. We are coming home smarter and more inspired than ever.
🀝 Connections That Matter β€” Our team had the privilege of meeting and reconnecting with so many extraordinary people this week β€” Jimmy Choi, Dominique Prins-KΓΆnig, Josefa "Ju" Domingos, Dr. Jori Fleisher, Dr. Lisa Oei and the PD-Connect team, Polly Dawkins and the Davis Phinney Foundation, the Kirk Gibson Foundation and Center teams, Naomi Casiro of NeuroFit BC, and so many more. Every conversation left us energized and inspired. ❀️
🌍 Global Perspective β€” Seeing how the Parkinson's community shows up from every corner of the world reminded us that we are part of something so much bigger than ourselves β€” and that is both humbling and energizing.
πŸ“Š Validation of Our Work β€” Presenting our fall prevention research on a global stage and seeing the genuine interest it sparked confirmed what we have always believed β€” that community-based, evidence-based programming changes lives.
πŸ’ͺ Renewed Purpose β€” More than anything, WPC reminded us WHY we do what we do every single day at InMotion. For our clients. For our community. For a world without Parkinson's disease.

We cannot wait to put everything we learned into action. Watch out, Beachwood β€” InMotion is coming home fired up! πŸ”₯❀️

πŸ’œβœ¨ InMotion Coach Amy Larocca caught one of the most powerful sessions of World Parkinson Congress β€” "Parkinson's and Women" β€” and we are so glad she did!

A powerhouse panel of physicians and researchers from around the globe tackled some of the most important and underrepresented questions in Parkinson's research today: How do hormone fluctuations impact medications and symptoms? What is the effect of pregnancy and breastfeeding on Parkinson's disease? These are questions that matter deeply to so many women in our community β€” and it was incredible to see them addressed on a global stage. 🌍🧠

And in an incredibly moving moment, the incoming president for WPC 2029 made a powerful vow β€” to help fundraise for a central hub where women with Parkinson's can find reliable research, information, and connection, AND to feature a dedicated plenary session on Women and Parkinson's at the next Congress in Quebec City. πŸ™ŒπŸ’™

These women are blazing a trail for every woman living with Parkinson's disease. We are in awe. πŸ’œ

Thank you for an amazing conference! We can't wait to see you in 2029!

🧠πŸ”₯ Saving the best for last at !

Co-Founder and Chief Program Officer Ben Rossi called today's "Exercise and PD" session the best seminar of the entire World Parkinson Congress. And after hearing what was covered, we completely understand why! 🌟

This powerhouse session featured some of the brightest minds in Parkinson's research:

πŸ”¬ Richard Smeyne on the neurobiology of exercise in Parkinson's disease πŸ’Š Daniel Corcos on whether exercise is neuroprotective in PD and the evidence from clinical trials 🧠 Erika Franzen on exercise-related structural and functional brain changes in Parkinson's disease πŸ’ͺ Our friend Jimmy Choi sharing his own incredible personal journey to a healthy lifestyle β€” and how YOU can do it too!

The science couldn't be clearer β€” exercise is not optional for people living with Parkinson's disease. It is medicine. πŸ’™

Sessions like this one remind us that everything we do at InMotion every single day is backed by the best research in the world. We are so proud to be part of this movement. 🌍

Thank you to the speakers, the moderators, and the entire WPC community for an unforgettable Congress. πŸ™Œ

πŸ’™πŸŒ One of the greatest gifts of World Parkinson Congress 2026 has been the incredible people we've had the privilege of connecting with this week in Phoenix. Co-Founder and Chief Program Officer Ben Rossi met up (and struck a pose) with some of the most passionate, dedicated advocates in the entire Parkinson's community β€” and we are so grateful for every single one of these friendships! ❀️

A heartfelt shoutout to our friends:
🎡 David Leventhal – Dance for PD 🚴 Polly Dawkins, Executive Director – Davis Phinney Foundation πŸ’ͺ Angee Ludwa – Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinson's Wellness πŸ† Cam Gibson – Kirk Gibson Foundation 🧘 Naomi Casiro, Founder – NeuroFit BC & NeuroFit Academy πŸ’ƒ Judith Sachs, Founder & Director – Anyone Can Dance ❀️ George Ackerman, Founder – Together for Sharon 🌷 Kristy Rose Follmar – Red Tulip for Parkinson's Awareness

The Parkinson's community is filled with the most extraordinary humans β€” all united by a shared mission to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson's disease. We are so honored to stand alongside each and every one of you. 🌟
Here's to the connections that change the world β€” one person at a time. πŸ’ͺ

🧠πŸ’ͺ One of the highlights of Day 3 at World Parkinson Congress 2026 was a fascinating presentation on the science of boosting physical AND cognitive health in people living with Parkinson's disease β€” and Cathe Schwartz, Ben Rossi, Coach Faith Gilbert, and Coach Amy Larocca were all in the room soaking it all in!

The session sparked some rich conversation and reaffirmed what we have believed and practiced at InMotion from the very beginning. The science is catching up to what our community already knows: that consistent, community-based exercise is one of the most powerful tools available to people living with Parkinson's disease. 🌟

We don't just follow the research at InMotion β€” we live it, we teach it, we contribute to it. Days like today remind us that we are on exactly the right path. πŸ’™

β˜€οΈ Good morning from Phoenix and World Parkinson Congress 2026!🌡🧠

What a day we had yesterday β€” our poster session was such a rewarding experience! Ben Rossi, CEO Cathe Schwartz, and Dr. Elizabeth Stiles presented our fall prevention research and were so encouraged by the interest and curiosity it sparked among congress attendees β€” researchers, clinicians, and advocates from around the world stopped to learn more and ask great questions. 🌍πŸ’ͺ

Our poster β€” "Preliminary Effects of a Fall Prevention-Focused Exercise and Education Program on Physical Function in People Living with Parkinson's Disease: A Pilot Study" β€” represents the heart of what we do at InMotion: delivering programming that is both deeply personal AND grounded in evidence. ❀️

A special highlight was a visit from our dear friend Dr. Jori Fleisher from Rush University β€” and a fellow Clevelander! πŸ’™

Make sure to watch the video featuring Ben, Cathe, and Dr. Elizabeth Stiles talking about our research! πŸŽ₯

πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈβœ¨ Yesterday afternoon, WPC 2026 got a little more zen β€” and we were ALL there for it! πŸ’™

Our very own Coach Char Grossman took the stage alongside Dominique Prins-KΓΆnig to co-teach their "Relax and Recharge with Yoga4Parkinson and YogaReach" session β€” and the InMotion family showed up in full force to cheer her on! πŸ™Œ
From left to right in photo #4 β€” Faith Gilbert, Aly Jaffe, Sandy Ellis, Char Grossman, Sheila McCarthy, Cathe Schwartz, and Ben Rossi β€” all beaming with pride for Char. ❀️

Char has been bringing her gift of Mindful Movement adaptive yoga to the InMotion community since our founding in 2015 β€” and watching her share that gift on a global stage at the World Parkinson Congress is a moment we will never forget. 🌍🌟

Char, we are so incredibly proud of you. You inspire us every single day. πŸ’ͺ

🧠✨ One of the things we love most about World Parkinson Congress is the incredible opportunity to learn β€” and our Co-Founder and Chief Program Officer Ben Rossi was soaking it all in at yesterday's seminar "Building Healthy Lifestyles".

The session featured an outstanding lineup of global speakers covering the science of behavioral change, how to make exercise stick, and how to sustain healthy eating habits for people living with Parkinson's. 🌍πŸ’ͺ

But here's what really lit Ben up β€” hearing the speakers talk about a philosophy he shares with our InMotion clients every single day: 1% Better Every Day. πŸ™Œ

Small, consistent improvements add up to extraordinary results over time. It's not about perfection β€” it's about progress. It's not about one big leap β€” it's about showing up, day after day, and moving the needle just a little bit further.
That's the InMotion way. That's the way. ❀️

So grateful for the brilliant minds gathered here in Phoenix who remind us that what we do at InMotion is backed by the best science in the world. 🌟
