Thank you to all who participated in the teaching clinic with Sharon Weizenbaum. We saw patients ranging in age from 7 - 76 and wrote herbal formulas to address the patterns contributing to a variety of symptoms: hot flashes, low back, foot and joint pain, rash and itchy skin, acid reflux, erratic blood pressure, premenstrual tension and more. Sharon's teaching was as clear and enlightening as ever. The practitioners learned so much, and the patients seemed to leave feeling different even though no treatment was given. I believe viewing their symptoms through a different lens and having the relationship of their symptoms to the workings of their own 'great sweeping motions' explained shifted something in the subject patients. It was inspiring for all.

There are 2 patient spots open for the teaching clinic on Sunday, July 19th in the afternoon with Sharon Weizenbaum. The class will be at my practice in Bethesda, MD. Sharon will lead the class to make a comprehensive Chinese Medicine diagnosis, explain her findings in a way that patients can easily understand, and prescribe one or more customized herbal formulas as appropriate. On July 18-19 I will host Sharon Weizenbaum at my practice in Bethesda, MD for a teaching clinic. This class is for practitioners of Chinese Medicine who use herbal formulas in their practice and focuses on diagnosis and treatment through the 6 conformations, or "great sweeping motions" as taught in her Graduate Mentorship Program. I took this class in Chicago earlier this year. Sharon is very generous with her time and knowledge and is patient in her teaching. It's also a good preview for beginners. Most of the patient slots are full, but if you would like to be considered as a subject please send me a private message. I would love to study with you, and it's a wonderful way to earn 14 CEUs.
