Just because you wake up tired, with no appetite, and anxious… doesn’t mean your nervous system is dysregulated.

Think about it: many of the things you call disease or dysregulation, or pathologize, are actually understandable and reasonable responses to what’s happening in your life.

As Gabor Maté puts it: “So much of what we call abnormality in this culture is actually normal responses to an abnormal circumstances.”

You are taught to focus on what is wrong with you.

You are taught to pathologize every feeling.

You are taught that what is normal, and within your control, is a fault.

You’re taught to approach health as though your symptoms are defects, but they’re just responses.

Just because you feel something doesn’t mean there’s something wrong.
