Happy Linden Blossoms! ✨

These fragrant beauties are blooming all over town right now, a special tree of fiber and medicine over the ages. If you look closely you will see that some have been modified by the old people before us, bent into shapes of the spirits within them, or you might find cuttings in the bark, now healed over, where the inner cambium was carefully removed early in spring to make cordage.

Sometimes people run into me outside the office. “You actually exist outside your office?!!” I have heard. Yes, it’s true. And just to prove it to you, I did this really profound vid outside. It was a super windy day, one of many in our increasingly extreme weather systems, so I hope you can hear all of it. I guarantee it is the most profound thing you’ve ever heard, even though it is muffled a little by wind noises. Might need to turn up the volume 📣😂
