Your gym bought what we built.
***Ok great, i’ll write a heartfelt post in your tone, making sure to highlight all the great aspects of your gym. Would you like me to use emojis and short sentences to capture the attention of people who view fitness as entertainment?***
Yeah, no thanks.
Hexagon lighting, AI descriptions and shiny new equipment lined up to please the eye of people who want the “gym experience”, all at your fingertips for just $55.99/mo. It’s gross, to me at least.
Those of us who truly care for the people who walk through our doors understand that giving a damn about our clients and patients is the truest currency of making a change.
I am here not because I am the smartest or best at what I do. I am here because I care more about your success and joy than anyone else you will ever meet, most especially the big box gyms who tout curb-appeal above all else.
Screw your aesthetics, your polished descriptions, and sanitized fitness facilities. Myself and the people I tag here will remain after your venture-capital funded glorified social club have come and gone with the trends outlined by fitness media.
If the late legend Louie Simmons has taught me anything, it’s that you can be an ugly, mean, sun-of-a-gun but if you care with all your heart, that’s all that matters. Thankfully, i’m just ugly and mean.
If you can’t come see me, see some of my friends who I feel share my values. Don’t get stuck spinning your wheels in a place who cares more for their appearance than the content of their heart.
***Oh good catch, that does read more in your tone. I’ll update this post to better suit your goals as a gym that cares about their community***
