What do I know three years into owning CFC that I had no clue about on day one? šæ
First, running a business is significantly more challenging than I ever realized as an associate. Thereās so much happening behind the scenes that has nothing to do with treating patients. But Iām also incredibly grateful for how much it has stretched me and helped me grow.
Clinically, one of my biggest lessons has been this.
Providing great care doesnāt mean giving every patient everything I know all at once.
Earlier in my career, I sometimes felt like I needed to move everyone toward the most comprehensive version of care possible. Now I understand that the best care begins with meeting the person in front of me exactly where they are.
Every patient has a different history. Different goals. Different resources. And a different level of readiness.
My job is to listen, figure out what will support that person most right now, and keep adapting as they grow.
Three years later I have more knowledge. But I also have more humility, more patience, and a much deeper appreciation for truly individualized care.
Thank you to everyone whoās trusted us with theirs. š¤
