Still being told your labs are "normal" even though you don't feel like yourself?

Hormone imbalances can affect much more than hot flashes or low testosterone. They can impact energy, metabolism, sleep, mood, mental clarity, muscle mass, recovery, and overall quality of life.

At Parker Mason Wellness, we take a comprehensive approach to hormone optimization by looking beyond a single lab value. We evaluate symptoms, lifestyle factors, and a full hormone picture to help identify potential imbalances and create a personalized treatment plan.

✔️ Fatigue & low energy
✔️ Weight gain & stubborn fat
✔️ Brain fog & poor focus
✔️ Low libido
✔️ Poor recovery
✔️ Menopause & perimenopause symptoms
✔️ Low testosterone symptoms

You deserve answers, not just "everything looks normal."

If you've been struggling to feel like yourself again, we're here to help.

If you’ve been told your fatigue is just stress or part of getting older, that may not be the full story.

Testosterone is often the forgotten hormone in women’s health, but it plays a major role in energy, mood, focus, motivation, muscle strength, and overall sense of well being. When levels drop, women can feel exhausted, foggy, and not like themselves even when other labs look “normal.”

This is why it’s so important to look at the full hormone picture, not just estrogen and progesterone.

✔️ Low energy that doesn’t improve with rest
✔️ Brain fog or poor focus
✔️ Low motivation or drive
✔️ Changes in strength or body composition
✔️ Feeling “off” without a clear reason

Your symptoms are real, and there is often more going on beneath the surface.

Have you ever been told, ‘Well… you’re still having a period, so you’re not a candidate for hormone therapy’?

We hear that all the time from women who come into Parker Mason Wellness frustrated, exhausted, and feeling dismissed. And unfortunately, many women are told this by providers who are still using outdated information about hormones and menopause.

The reality is, hormone decline does not suddenly start the day your periods stop. For many women, hormone levels can begin shifting and declining as early as their 30s. Long before menopause officially happens, women can start experiencing symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, poor sleep, low libido, weight gain, mood swings, loss of motivation, and difficulty building or maintaining muscle.

And because they’re still cycling, many women are told everything is ‘normal.’

But normal does not always mean optimal.

At Parker Mason Wellness, we focus on looking at the full picture. We listen to symptoms, review lab work, discuss lifestyle, and help patients understand what may actually be happening in their bodies during perimenopause and hormone transition years.

Women should not have to wait until they completely stop having periods to start feeling better, sleeping better, thinking clearer, and getting their quality of life back.

Our goal is education, prevention, and helping patients feel like themselves again before they hit rock bottom.

If this sounds familiar to you, or to someone you know, we’d love to talk with you more after the meeting.

Hot flashes are not random. They are a direct result of shifting hormones during perimenopause and menopause, especially fluctuating and declining estrogen levels that affect the brain’s temperature regulation center in the hypothalamus.

When estrogen drops, the hypothalamus can become more sensitive to small changes in body temperature and mistakenly trigger a “cooling response,” leading to sudden waves of heat, sweating, flushing, and sometimes heart palpitations.

✔️ Estrogen fluctuations disrupt temperature control in the brain
✔️ Progesterone decline can worsen sleep and increase symptom intensity
✔️ Stress hormones can amplify hot flash frequency and severity
✔️ Symptoms often increase during perimenopause before stabilizing after menopause

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) can help stabilize these hormonal fluctuations, supporting more consistent estrogen levels and improving the brain’s ability to regulate temperature. Many women experience a significant reduction in hot flashes, better sleep, and improved quality of life with appropriately managed therapy.

Parker Mason Wellness is now offering FREE consultations through the end of May to discuss hormone balance, symptoms, and individualized HRT options.

So grateful to have been part of last week’s KNOW Event discussing the importance of women becoming their own healthcare advocates. From understanding your labs and hormones to asking questions and pushing for answers, education is one of the most powerful tools in healthcare.

We also had important conversations about how to maneuver insurance companies, what to do when claims or treatments are denied, and how to better prepare for medical appointments so you can get the most out of your visits and truly feel heard. Knowing your symptoms, tracking concerns, understanding your health history, and being prepared with questions can make a major difference in your healthcare experience.

Too often women are told their symptoms are “normal” or overlooked completely. We believe every woman deserves to feel informed, empowered, and confident advocating for themselves and their health.

We love connecting with our community through educational health talks and wellness discussions. Whether it’s a women’s group, workplace, networking event, gym, or corporate wellness program, we are always happy to provide engaging conversations on topics like hormones, menopause, nutrition, weight management, preventative health, navigating healthcare systems, and overall wellness.
