The Good Temper Body Tempering- latest and greatest technique to improve mobility and speed up recovery!

Body tempering can help relieve back pain by increasing circulation to tight, restricted tissues and helping the body down-regulate tension.

But it’s not a miracle cure. Long term relief comes from mobility- teaching your body how to move better so the tightness doesn’t keep coming back.

Prioritize movement everyday- walking and some mobility flows!

DM me if you want a body tempering session or a mobility flow to do at home!

Fascia has become the main character I am here for it!

Your fascia is more than just tissue, it’s the connective web that holds you together.

This living network surrounds every muscle, organ, nerve, and cell… helping your body communicate, adapt, and move as one.

Fascia is also highly hydrated, it’s made up of a matrix that relies on water to stay flexible, glide, and support healthy movement.

When fascia becomes stiff or dehydrated, we can feel it as tightness, restriction, or that “stuck” feeling in our bodies.

Movement, breath, mobility, and bodywork help restore flow- keeping this incredible system resilient.

Your body isn’t just muscles. It’s a connected, intelligent system.

If you spend 8+ hours at a desk, this one’s for you. Save this quick mobility drill for the next time your hips and hamstrings feel like they’ve turned to concrete.

Focus on your breath, push butt back, squeeze glutes at the top. Repeat 10-15 times.

Easy peasy- and who cares if Steve from finance thinks you look dumb. He probably can’t touch his toes either 😉💁‍♀️

DM me today and book your temper session!

Behind every great haircut is a pair of overworked shoulders.

Hairdressers spend hours every day with their arms elevated, creating tension through the shoulders, upper back, neck, and lats. Body tempering helps reduce that built-up stiffness so they can keep doing what they love with less discomfort and better mobility. ✂️💪

A lot of knee pain isn’t actually a knee problem it’s often the result of tight, overworked muscles above and below the joint creating extra stress where you feel it.

Body tempering isn’t about “fixing” pain. It’s about giving your body the environment it needs to move, recover, and perform better.

A few minutes of pressure. A lot less complaining from my knees.

If you look closely you’ll see some painful faces being made- it’s completely normal to absolutely hate this part 😂

In your 20s, you can get away with poor movement, skipped recovery, and random workouts.

In your 30s, your body starts sending invoices.

The people who continue feeling strong, athletic, and pain-free aren’t necessarily working harder.

They’re moving better.

Mobility isn’t a bonus anymore- it’s part of the plan.

That’s why at Good Temper, we focus on improving movement quality, tissue health, and recovery so you can keep doing the things you love for years to come.

Taking out the trash 🚮

Body Tempering is a highly effective way to flush your system and facilitate blood flow. Since there is a deeper level of pressure with tempering we are able to rehydrate and soften dense areas that you might not be able to get with stretching or foam rolling.

Since I hit my 30’s my whole workout style changed. I used to walk in the gym, swing my leg 3 times and start squatting my body weight then wonder why I couldn’t turn my head to the left for the next 2 weeks.

Adding in 10, sometimes 15 minutes of a mobility flow before my workout has not only helped my ROM but made my performance better! Even if it cuts into the workout time you have, it’s worth it, and if you go through the flow fast enough you can increase your heart rate and break a sweat.

2 rounds-
Worlds greatest stretch 5/side
Cat Cow 5x
90 degree Hip Rotations 5/side
Glute bridge 30 sec (contract, squeeze, breath)
Band Pull a-parts 15x
Arm circles 10 each way

Since my knees have been crunchy AF I did some rolling on my quads to ungunk the junk!
