How is everyone doing on this eclipse season? Its bringing in a lot of big thematic changes in a lot of folks lives already.
Ive posted the forecast for this month on the patreon, and I have gotten great feedback so far. Im making it available at the $5 level so more people can access it. All you need to know is your rising sign. See the linktree in bio for the Patreon.
Im also completing the jagradaadi avasthas course this week. These are amazingly simple techniques that I rely on constantly and probably think about every day of my life on some level.
These are the real techniques a life coach needs to have. You can know so quickly where someone’s strengths and weaknesses lie, its almost too much.
And its insane how many incompetent life coaches are out there, basically charting huge rates for blind encouragement and no actual skillset aside from that because they are actually spending all their time on marketing and mastering algorithms. You dont want those ones.
You want ones who have a skillset and a solid modality, plus a few yrs experience.

If one just studied this material for a year or 2 they would be able to become the most amazing coach at whatever modality they want really. Its that powerful. Theres a reason I went from being unable to get steady readings to being booked up since 2016 w out marketing or constantly promoting myself. Its cuz I learned the real stuff…and am now sharing it. Dont bash it till you’ve tried it!

We hear this word “Nadi” often in the world of yoga and vedic astrology. The Nadis are the subtle energy channels that run through our body, subtler than even the nerves. The whole goal of yogasana is to purify and cleanse these energy channels so we can move our energy into our spine, and then up into the higher brain centers to process deeper and deeper states of Self realization.
Nadi also is the name for a river or waterfall. It comes from the verb Naad which means to roar, cry, or sound out (because a river or waterfall is always roaring). I always thought that was really cool.
Just as this river is roaring, vibrating, pulsing with life, we all have 72,000 nadis or roarers that are pulsing astral energy through us at all times, if only we can process these states. Thats where all the purification processes of yoga come in, to remove blockages in these 72,000 rivers we have flowing though us at all times. Something to think about!

Why do I do tropical vedic astrology? Why not just western astrology? Sure would be a lot easier being an American living in the west and all right?
Here I explain why I dont do western astrology. Mainly because they dont have any techniques. All they have is aspects. You look your chart up on astro.com and it just gives endless aspects. And then they started making up new aspects like quincunx and semi sextile. Obviously they ran out of tools long ago.
Its like that saying, if your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
Contrast this with Vedic astrology where we have avasthas, ashtakavarga, dignity, planetary friends and enemies, dashas and other unique timing systems, 15 other entire birth charts to read from that are extrapolated from the main chart, shadbala and all the different balas or strengths a planet can have, planetary war, and an entire other lunar zodiac of 27 moon signs.
And to top it all off Vedic Astro has 3 different types of aspects, so it has even more aspects than western does anyway. Vedic uses tajika aspects (same as western), graha sputa drishti, and rasi aspects, which is where signs actually aspect each other.

So yea Im good on these quincunxes and semi sextiles. Im also good oj these little meteors like chiron or lilith which are tiny little rocks, may as well read where the ISS space station is in your chart.
Junk food astrology can keep all that. Im gonna stick with what actually enlightened Rishis taught. And if you are gonna go with western astro at least go with the old hellenistic or medieval stuff, its more accurate.

So many astrologers and readers are struggling to get clients and trying everything except actually being really good at astrology. Kinda weird when ya think about it. Perhaps a symptom of our current culture.
If you are not getting enough clients or readings in your wellness or astrology work, consider going deeper. How many hours of courses have you actually taken?

See, there is no degree for astrology, so any random guy or girl with a savior complex can just call themselves an astrologer and legally be fine. Hence it attracts crazy ego maniacs and con artists like seagulls to a picnic at the beach. You have to know that going into it.

Acknowledge inwardly that you will have to go out of your way to find the real stuff, and you will automatically start lining up with it more. The universe will still intentionally puts up walls and tests to keep all but the most serious seekers away, but keep going and dont settle for the junk food astrology. You will be glad you did. Also a great way to make money, work remotely, and create your own schedule and lifestyle.

This diagram depicts the Nakshatras behind the Tropical Zodiac. It is from my book, the Nakshatra Manual, and the video course that goes along with it on Patreon. The majority of Vedic Astrologers are using sidereal zodiac, and they just seem to superimpose the rashi qualities onto the nakshatras that are behind them. For example they relate Revati to fishes mostly because it falls in sidereal pisces. This doesnt work very well in practice.

As a tropical vedic astrologer I am seeing the nakshatras to be cycling thru the zodiac, behind it, and never permanently linked to any sign. I make a strong case for this in the course and book, though I know it is quite controversial. It is referenced in the vedic sutras. For example they refer to dhanistha being where the winter solstice occurred in ancient times. Now dhanistha falls in tropical Aquarius, far from the solstice point. The nakshatras were never meant to be linked to certain signs eternally, but this is how they are seen now.

Its one of the first big problems with our current mainstream way of learning about nakshatras that I address in this book.
Other important misnomers you’ll commonly come across:
-over emphasizing the yoni animal and not even covering the nature, directionality, gana, or dhatu/mula/jeeva category of the nakshatra.
-interpreting the nakshatra based only on its planetary lord. The problem there is there are multiple planetary lords based on what dasha system one is using.
-and if nakshatras are always connected to the same signs, why do we even need both? Its a double redundancy that makes no sense until we embrace tropical vedic.

These are a few of the contradictions and mistakes of modern nakshatra interpretation. See the course and book to learn more about how to get so much more out of jyotish

Here I share a little anecdote from the latest financial astrology forecast about consulting for my own Mother. Its actually the 3rd time Ive helped her make a lot of money just thru real estate trades with the techniques I teach here in the courses. It started when she couldnt sell a house for over a year and I told her the month it would finally sell, and surely enough it did.
Since then she gets me to do all her real estate consults haha, its the least I can do.

In this forecast I give updates on crypto, the stock markets, and gold and silver for the rest of the year. Join my patreon and unlock all my financial astrology courses and start creating abundance for yourself and clients. You also get a free monthly forecast like this one, as well as discounted tutoring rates for the serious students. See linktree in bio for more info.

The Vedic Big Three
In western astrology the sun, moon, and rising make up the “big three”. Awhile back I proposed the “Vedic Big Three” to help spread more awareness of jyotish into pop culture.

1) Atmakaraka - planet with most degrees in the chart, not counting rahu or ketu.
2) the Svamsa - the sign the atmakaraka falls in the navamsa varga.
3) the Janma nakshatra - the Nakshatra your moon was in at birth.
The first two explain objectively who one is and what ones dharma is. Or what we think of as a career path in modern days.
The third explains more of the internal subjective nature of the person, more of their feminine side.

Together these factors fill in and reveal so much more of who a person is than just the sun, moon, and rising.

Join my patreon if you want to learn Jyotish. For $33/month you get access to all my astrology courses, plus discounted tutoring rates and a free monthly forecast for each rising sign. The forecast alone makes it worth it even if you arent training to become an astrologer.

Jupiter traditionally was the ruler of ones husband or man in the birth chart. This is because overall women want a man with a purpose, a vision, and the wisdom and confidence to guide and carry out that vision, someone they can create children and a legacy with. Thats Jupiter.

But in the modern western era it seems women have chosen or been culturally conditioned to trade out their Jupiter for Mars.
I discuss the pros and cons of this, and how it resonates with the era of single mothers and toxic “situationships” as women are more and more seeking a Mars man over a Jupiter man.
Is it actually leading to more fulfilment? Or is the innately cruel energy of Mars creating karmas that actually make deeper wounds around relationships?

The Avasthas of Vedic Astrology are the real key to understanding our karma and why life sucks or rules for us.
It reveals our good and bad habits with each archetype of life, and more importantly how to change those habits and heal our wounds. That way we dont keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result…

This is what I did with my life, learned the Avasthas, augmented the good, worked on the bad ones and instantly saw the success. I took the calling to do this for people for a living. And I am so happy I did! The avasthas are something I rely on in ever reading I do.

If you are serious about learning astrology beyond the junk food astrology level, you may want to consider this. If healing your wounds and being the best version of yourself is your thing and you feel something is missing, you will want to understand how these work in your chart.

Only thing is they are sign based, and dont work well with the sidereal zodiac, which is what 90% of vedic astrologers use. So they learn this then ignore it and never use it. But when we get our calculations correct and use tropical rashis all of a sudden we see why the Rishis valued these avasthas. The picture is finally in focus.

Its a game changer but very very few Jyotishis know how to use them because their calculations are off. So dont think you can just look up some astrologer and they can tell you this, or chat gpt can. It cant but it will make you think it did.

The real truths take a little more effort. I teach all of this in detail on my patreon for those who are willing to put the time in.
