Wanna take a second to brag on our other now TEEN WORLD RECORD HOLDER....Lee Julian. That's 2(TWO) teenage World Record Holding lifters at Genesis Fitness. Lee, being a teen and now as a World Record Holder he's now an Elite. He has been invited with mostly all our Powerlifting team to compete at the World's this October !!!

There hasn't been a meet that our team hasn't been to that we haven't walked away with AT LEAST 1 World Record. Put that in ya pipe an smoke it !!!!! Say what you want...But I have a couple questions that should spark your interest.

1 - Does YOUR current gym turn out World Record Setting Powerlifters.???
..OR...

2 - National Qualifying Bodybuilders.??

** Get This......AT THEIR VERY FIRST COMPETITIONS EVER ?!?!?!??!?!?!? **

Then MAYBE you're not at the right gyms to make continued progress. We have the team and the knowledge to get you there if you're willing to put in the work. ***EFFECTIVE 9/14***

We will be eliminating the 8:30am class at Genesis Fitness Taylorsville. This is the one particular class that's not conducive for hardly any of our members schedules. We were hoping there may have been other members that this time slot would help out, but it actually has just compacted our instructors schedules and spread them thin as well. This was actually discussed and advised by the previous owner months ago as well. We will still have the 5am, 6:15am, 12:30pm, 4pm, 5:30pm Monday-Friday classes as well as our great Yoga relaxation classes at 7pm on Monday and Wednesday most weeks. Because at Genesis Fitness we want you to Give Your Best, To Be Your Best !!!

If something is too uncomfortable it affects the mind/muscle connection. Fact. So on our belt squat, and virtually ALL belt squat belts, they cut into your hips and abductors if you're training heavy. Well, it took a little research but I found a company that remedies that. Got 2 different sized Bulletproof belts to help feel better for our members that are belt squatting big numbers. As always, Genesis Fitness might imitated, but will never be duplicated...👍👍💪💪. Because at Genesis Fitness we want you to Give Your Best, To Be Your Best !!!

Like to say how proud I am of our Genesis Fitness Powerlifting Team !!! Coaches Rodney Galloway, Rafael Torres and Kenny Moore are leading the way for some big numbers coming up. We were actually short a couple team members today that didn't make this meet but are gearing up for the next one. Definitely set a few PRs today and our 15 year old star Lee Julian racked up, and which hasn't been confirmed just yet but may have set a world record in the strict curl. It's absolutely amazing to me and I'm so happy and humbled to have such great people on board at Genesis Fitness !!!! As all our members and team members know at Genesis Fitness we want you to Give Your Best, To Be Your Best !!!

You guys love Rodney's, Erin's, Mike's and Courtney's classes.....and you'll definitely love Rafael's classes too !!! Raf is an awesome guy and real asset to the Genesis Fitness team as well. Raf has always loved training and helping people for decades. He's worked through injuries himself and knows how to strengthen any weakness you have. As a Certified Fitness Trainer he'll help you get started and also can push you past your limits to make you better than you've ever been. Come and get in on his classes starting next week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Genesis Fitness Taylorsville, or book some one on one personal training sessions with Raf !!!
