This was my first World Breastfeeding Week not nursing or pumping. Big milestones, y’all!
I got to spend this week touching base with some amazing colleagues and friends, reminding me of how lucky I am to do what I love.
1️⃣stopped in at both hospitals and dropped off a little something special for the nurses on the lactation teams. They work long shifts, cover holidays and weekends, and are in the front lines to help you when you meet your new baby. Thank you for what you do!
2️⃣ I got a tour of the beautiful historic building that is home to Birth Sisters. Thank you, Ms. Doreen! Happy to contribute a prize to your annual Boob-B-Que! This organization is doing such important work!
3️⃣ I’m lucky enough to have friends I’ve known since freshman year of college. For the last few years we have been able to coordinate the schedules and get together at this picturesque spot for a full weekend, and I got to finish up the week catching up with besties. So thankful for friendships that have lasted through different life phases, and for The Inn at Stinson Vineyards.
Next week we will start rolling out some exciting new announcements, so stay tuned for a big week ahead!
I hope that you’re doing something to celebrate this special phase of your life, whether it’s advocating for the daytime nap, a nice iced coffee, or buying yourself a new bra. You are worth it.
