Today, Dr. Geoffrey Henson performed spinal anesthesia for a patient who underwent a total hip replacement. The patient woke up without any nausea, confusion or pain. The patient went home two hours later, walking to her car (with a walker) without any issues. The patient was extremely pleased. Dr. Swanson, the orthopedic surgeon who did the hip surgery, said: “that’s the best anesthesia ever from the best anesthesiologist.”

Soaring Surgery Center is very thankful to have the expertise and skills of Geoff Henson - an Atlanta native who lives in Batesville with his wife and 3 kids. Dr. Henson says he “rides motorcycles, plays guitar, and sucks at golf.” He also says he “loves working with Dr. Swanson and helping people.”
