Last night, we celebrated the retirement of Jan Warner, Supervising Audiologist at Hearing Speech + Deaf Center's Eastgate Location! After more than 40 years in the audiology profession, including 21 years with HSDC, Jan is retiring at the end of this week.
Throughout her time at HSDC, Jan has helped expand access to hearing healthcare across Greater Cincinnati, providing audiology services at all three of our locations. Her expertise includes hearing aid fittings, assistive listening technology, and hearing healthcare for adults and school-aged children.
But Jan’s impact extends far beyond our clinics. For many years, she has provided weekly audiology services to residents of Maple Knoll Village, helping older adults stay connected to the people and communities they love. Earlier in her HSDC career, she also partnered with the Clermont County Educational Service Center to support students who wore hearing aids.
Jan is known for her clinical excellence, compassion, and unwavering commitment to helping people communicate with confidence. Her legacy will be felt by the countless patients, families, students, colleagues, and community members whose lives she has touched.
“Jan has devoted an extraordinary 21 years to improving access to hearing health in our community, leaving a legacy of compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment,” said our COO Sally Quilligan. “Her kindness and professionalism have touched countless lives.”
Thank you, Jan, for 21 incredible years with HSDC and more than four decades dedicated to helping others hear and communicate. We wish you a well-earned retirement filled with new adventures and plenty of time with family!
