Today, we're reflecting on the life of Dolly Parton, who passed away at 80.

Dolly gave the world so much more than music. Through her Imagination Library, she put free books into the hands of millions of children, believing that every child deserves the chance to imagine a bigger life for themselves.

She was also refreshingly honest about the importance of taking care of your mind and heart, and she lived by a simple philosophy: "Why not spread kindness?" That's a message that matters deeply to us in the mental health field, where compassion and connection can change the course of someone's life.

At Inspired Counseling Services, our name reflects what we hope to offer every client — a source of encouragement, hope, and inspiration on their journey toward healing. Dolly spent her life being exactly that for others, and today we're grateful for the reminder that kindness, authenticity, and caring for one another's well-being can leave a legacy that lasts far beyond one lifetime.

Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for inspiring so many of us. 💛

We are SO excited to welcome our newest therapy interns to the practice! Please join us in giving them a big, warm welcome! 👏🏻👏🏻

These incredible interns are beginning an exciting new chapter with us, and we’re so happy to have them here! We’re looking forward to watching them learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact through the work they do with clients.

Our interns will begin accepting clients at a $40 private-pay rate per session in the coming weeks, offering an affordable way to access quality, compassionate therapy. If you are interested in working with an intern, reach out to our front desk for next steps to begin your counseling journey! 💛
