๐จ MORE PAIN โ MORE DAMAGE
One of the biggest misconceptions about pain is that the intensity of your pain tells you how badly you're injured.
It doesnโt always work that way.
You can have **a lot of pain with very little tissue damage**โฆ and you can have significant structural changes with surprisingly little pain.
Pain is an alarm system, not a damage meter.
Itโs influenced by much more than just the tissue itself, including previous injuries, stress, sleep, fear, sensitivity of the nervous system, and how your brain interprets whatโs happening.
Thatโs why at GO Physio, we donโt just ask:
โHow bad does it hurt?โ
We want to understand **WHY it hurts.**
Because a 9/10 pain level doesn't automatically mean you're seriously injuredโฆ and it definitely doesn't always mean you need to stop moving.
The goal is to figure out whatโs actually driving the pain and build a plan to get you confidently moving again.
