Going back to work and pumping? You have rights that make it easier to keep breastfeeding.

Try paced bottle feeding to help support breastfeeding. It helps babies eat slowly, avoid overfeeding, and keep a good latch.

Have you thought about food safety during pregnancy?
Keeping you and your baby healthy starts with what’s on your plate. Try these simple tips:
- Cook seafood, meat, poultry, and eggs to safe internal temperatures.
- Avoid unpasteurized (raw) juice or milk, raw sprouts, and soft cheeses made from unpasteurized milk.
- Reheat deli meats and hot dogs until steaming hot (165°F).

“My own journey drives the way I support other parents. Whether you’re breastfeeding or not, I’m here for you. I understand the beauty and the hardship that come with new motherhood. Sometimes you just need someone to remind you that you’re doing your best—and that’s more than enough.” – Ohio WIC Breastfeeding Peer
