Flu season is coming; know where to go for care 👇

Getting a flu vaccine is one of the best ways to help protect yourself and others from influenza and reduce the risk of serious illness. 🩹

If you develop flu-like symptoms, you do not necessarily need to go to the Emergency Department. Before heading to the hospital, call St. Tammany Health System at (985) 898-4001 for guidance on whether your symptoms can be treated in one of our primary care clinics or whether you need emergency care.

St. Tammany Health System offers same-day appointments at its primary care clinics, as well as at its Express Care after hours walk-in clinics.

Overnight Thursday into Friday, stability was restored to the St. Tammany Health System network.

STHS leadership thanks our colleagues, patients and families for their patience while we resolved the issue. Our diagnostic investigation found no indication of a cybersecurity event.
