Free educational opportunity: Ability Leadership Program of North Carolina (ALP-NC)

ALP-NC is a peer-led program created by the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD). It helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), their families, and other advocates gain leadership and advocacy skills. The goal is to empower individuals to create positive change in their communities and ensure they have a voice in shaping services and policies that affect them.

It can be hard this time of year to see all those pictures and posts on social media - remember it is not just about grades or being a great athlete. We should celebrate all kids for getting through a year of school as it can be a daily challenge and even the small wins are huge!
