April Reflections
One word: Busy.
Grateful for: Community. My people showed up in the most beautiful ways this month — my mom and aunt giving us the gift of a trip, sweet surprises at the studio on my birthday, messages that made me feel so held. Family, friends, and this community… I don’t take it lightly.
A feeling I experienced most: Gratitude (see above 😄)
Something I learned about myself: Once I get an idea in my head, I cannot let it go. Like… a house in Italy cannot let it go. 🇮🇹 We’ll call it passionate focus and move on.
Something I’m proud of: 10 years. A decade of Yoga on Davidson. The growth, the people, the work — and equally proud of what I’ve poured into my home, my family, and myself alongside it all.
Something I’m letting go of: The need for everything to be perfect. Choosing perfectly imperfect instead.
A feeling I want more of: That deep, quiet calm. The kind you find in the woods, in nature, in stillness. Chasing more of that peace and joy wherever it lives.
Here’s to May.
