This is NUTS! - Since the "right" to grow livestock / food is not explicitly enshrined in the US constitution states have the purported legal authority to ban elements of agriculture as they see fit. If you thought the trans issue was crazy, this nonsense makes the trans issue / men in women's sports look like pee-wee football. This case of whether a farmer / person has the explicit right to farm, grow food / livestock is a case being taken up by the US Supreme Court that will have downline implications / set precedents for all kinds of matters of personal liberty, agriculture, right to grow / choose what we eat / how we nourish our bodies. It is incredible how 3 lawyer Federal Judges who may be technically proficient in Law are so void of common sense to actually side with the State of Minnesota DNA (yes, they sided with the State of Minnesota DNR - has the authority to ban the entire state's beef industry if it so chose to do so). Maybe we should go back to the old days where judges were more versed in good ol'e fashion common sense than the law?? These federal judges / state Attorney General are certainly making a strong case for that.

Grazing season 2026 underway on rye and triticale. It is a little short yet but is necessary in order to slowly transition / acclimate their tummies (rumen bacteria) from dry hay to spring, rich green grass. They filled their bellies up with dry hay earlier and now topping off with some candy / dessert grass.
