Join me, Diane Littel, Menominee Native Artisan, Drum Maker, and "Drum Doula," for a powerful hands-on experience where you will create your own beautiful Spirit Drum from start to finish.

This is more than a craft workshop—it's a journey of intention, connection, and creation.

During this workshop you will:
✨ Create your own 15" Spirit Drum
✨ Choose your drumhead (Elk, Horse, Bison, or Deer)
✨ Learn the sacred process of drum making
✨ Receive guidance every step of the way
✨ Participate in a guided meditation with your completed drum
✨ Learn how to care for and maintain your drum

Boy, do I remember.

There are moments when I find myself completely in awe of my own life.

When I look back at where I came from—the struggles, the pain, the challenges, and the obstacles I had to overcome—I am reminded of just how far I’ve traveled on this journey.

There were times when I couldn’t see the path ahead. Times when I wondered if things would ever get easier. Yet here I am.

Today, I am surrounded by purpose, healing, community, and opportunities I never could have imagined. I have the honor of walking alongside others on their healing journeys while continuing my own.

I don’t take a single moment for granted.

I am grateful for every lesson, every setback that became a stepping stone, every person who believed in me, and every prayer that carried me through.

Sometimes I am truly star-struck by my own life.

Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s proof of what is possible when you keep going, keep healing, and keep believing.

✨ Blessed beyond measure.
✨ Grateful beyond words.
✨ Still becoming.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is stop looking back.

We spend so much time revisiting what didn’t work out, what we lost, who left, or the opportunities that never unfolded the way we hoped. Yet every time we keep our eyes fixed on what is behind us, we risk stumbling over what is right in front of us.

Not everything is meant to stay. Some people, experiences, and chapters were only meant to teach us, shape us, and prepare us for what comes next.

When we are constantly looking over our shoulder, attempting to make sense of the past or catch ourselves from falling over old wounds, we become distracted from the blessings, opportunities, and growth waiting ahead.

Honor the lessons. Acknowledge the pain. Be grateful for what was.

Then lift your eyes forward.

Trust that what is meant for you is ahead of you, not behind you.

Keep moving. Keep healing. Keep becoming.

If you had asked me 28 years ago where I thought my life would be, this is not the path I would have imagined.

The journey has not always been easy. There have been challenges, lessons, healing, growth, and moments that required faith when I couldn’t yet see the outcome.

Reflections in the Moon

Beneath the moon’s eternal glow,
I rise in silence, clothed in snow.
My shadow takes its winged form,
an owl who guards through night and storm.

Its feathers echo my flowing hair,
its golden eyes my steadfast stare.
Two beings, yet one spirit true,
mirrored in the midnight blue.

It carries my fears on silent flight,
I hold its wisdom in my sight.
Together we walk where dreamers go,
between the worlds that ebb and flow.

O sister of wing, O voice of night,
you are my guide, my second light.
In you I see what I must be,
a soul unbroken, wild, and free.
