Sometimes stress doesn’t look like panic.

Sometimes it looks like:
- being constantly overstimulated
-feeling emotionally numb
- difficulty resting
- Irritability
- exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix
- always feeling “on edge”
- shutting down emotionally

Your body is always communicating with you.

You deserve support before burnout becomes your normal.

One of the most beautiful parts of this work is watching people soften around the horses.

Horses don’t care about titles, productivity, masks, or perfection.

They respond to honesty. Presence. Energy. Emotion.

They often help people feel safe enough to:
- process emotions
- release stress
- reconnect with themselves
- practice boundaries
- feel grounded again

Sometimes the healing conversation doesn’t even need words.

There are stories people carry long after service ends.

At Leave It In The Sand, creating safe spaces for veterans to breathe, process, reconnect, and feel supported matters deeply.

Healing isn’t weakness.
Rest isn’t failure.
And asking for support does not take away your strength.

We are honored to continue supporting women veterans through retreats, connection, and healing-centered experiences. 🇺🇸

No, you don’t need horse experience.

And no, you won’t be riding horses.

Equine Gestalt Coaching is an experiential approach that helps uncover the emotions, patterns, stress, and stories we often carry silently.

Horses naturally respond to energy, emotions, and authenticity, which creates powerful opportunities for awareness and healing.

Many clients walk away feeling:
- More grounded
- More emotionally clear
- Less stuck
- More connected to themselves

Sometimes healing starts with simply slowing down enough to notice what your body has been trying to say.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is admit you’re exhausted from carrying it all alone.

At Leave It In The Sand, healing doesn’t happen through pressure or perfection. It happens through connection, awareness, nervous system safety, and learning how to come back to yourself again.

Whether you’re navigating burnout, trauma, stress, grief, transitions, or simply feeling disconnected from who you are… you are welcome here.

The horses have a way of helping people feel seen without needing to explain everything first. 🤍

If your soul has been craving space to breathe, this may be your sign.

So we found that Frannie had a wolf tooth! Apparently horse owners have those removed when the horse is younger as it’s believed that it can get in the way of the bit (the metal piece of the bridle that goes in their mouth).
And, the baby wolf tooth came out easily when her teeth were floated!
