Theater is made up of so many moving parts, but the greatest reward comes when all the hard work is finally seen on stage. The real joy, though, is sharing the experience with an amazing group of people who bring the magic to life. ☀️Behind the scenes are the family and friends who support us every step of the way, encouraging us and celebrating the passion, creativity, and community that make musical theater so special.🎶🎭

I knew where our 2009 "Oklahoma!" show sign was, but it wasn't until later that I spotted 2013 "The Music Man" sign in the Hult Center backstage photo wall. Funny enough, it had been right above it all along. 💜
I was very happy to be back in this magical space.

The Shedd Institute’s E. Y. Harburg Academy for Musical Theatre presents the 12th semi-annual Vaudeville Hour! Academy students will be paying homage to the art of Vaudeville with musical numbers, comedy sketches, and more! The Vaudeville Hour will include songs such as:
Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin', If Momma Was Married, Chapel of Love, June Is Bustin' Out All Over and more!
There will be one performance on Sunday, June 7th at 5:30 pm
Admission is free, ticketed reserved seating. Obtain tickets at The Shedd Ticket Office or online.

Looks who’s 6 years old! 🎉
Our handsome Oscar is enjoying life and loving his family. He loves playing ball, going for walks, chasing squirrels, camping, playing in the snow, napping, and his favorite hobby — swimming!

He’s such a sweet boy and brings so much joy to our lives. ❤️

When I was a kid, having to walk home from the school bus sometimes felt annoying — but looking back, it helped me appreciate being outside and the simple joy of walking. It’s also such a great way to decompress and clear your mind.

Oscar and I have been walking more lately and enjoying this beautiful spring weather. 🌷☀️
