October 10th is World Mental Health Day. With that in mind we would like to share these tips to help improve mental health:

1. Get enough sleep. 7-9 hours of quality sleep a night can drastically improve mental health.
2. Set healthy boundaries. Being able to say "no" to a task or event when your are overwhelmed is an important tool for protecting your mental health.
3. Be active. 20-30 minutes of exercise per day can help release anxiety and depression reducing endorphins.
4. Engage in social activities with loved ones or friends.
5. Engage with hobbies and interests.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis call 988, text HOME to 741741 or visit 988lifeline.org.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. About 13% of women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer at their lifetime. While we can't stop every new case from happening, early detection is critical to slowing and stopping progression. This month serves as an opportunity to provide love and support to those fighting breast cancer and honor those we have lost to it.

Pip is running on a platform of being down to earth, reigning in those pesky squirrels, and more treats!

We hope you will go out and vote for Pip and Pearl before October 16th! Vote for Pip here:
