let’s go over 3️⃣ of my current favorite stretches!!!

1️⃣: chest stretch ⭐️ this one is going to stretch what we call our pectoral musculature! This one is awesome for everybody - especially those who have a desk job, use a computer a lot, or spend a ton of time driving. For this one, we will keep one palm and forearm flat on a wall. Then, you’ll see me turn my entire body away from that arm to stretch my chest.

2️⃣: cat/cows⭐️ this will forever be one of my favorites. It feels good and is a great one for general mobility and stretching! For this one, I start on my hands and knees and SLOWLY go back and forth from arching my back to rounding my back, moving my neck, and rocking my hips as well.

3️⃣: threading the needle ⭐️ this one is fantastic for opening up the sides of the body! I start on all fours. Then, I like to start by opening my chest up by bringing one arm up, then taking that same arm and pushing through the opening between my opposite arm and leg. From there, I like to shift my weight back to give a greater stretch.

Kicking off September with dropping off all of the school supplies that were so kindly donated (THANK YOU!❤️) in the month of July! These supplies are being happily donated to the Peace Academy here in Fargo (Peace Academy Fargo)!! I’m so grateful & proud of what Spine & Soul is donating and look forward to this being an annual tradition!☺️📚✂️✏️

yes, i get random aches and pains too😜😭 it seems like so many people think that as a provider, I don’t experience some of the complaints that my patients do. SOOO not true!!
