“Your turn, my turn!” 🧩

A simple tabletop game can be a great way for kiddos to practice the back and forth of playing together.

As you match cards, roll the dice, or move pieces around the board, your kiddo is learning to wait, notice what someone else is doing, and share their attention with another person.

Which tabletop game does your kiddo love? Bring it out this week and enjoy some learning through play together! 🫶

Our Fort Wayne team had the chance to step away from the day-to-day and spend some quality time together.

Moments like these remind us how important connection is behind the scenes, too. Getting to laugh, catch up, and enjoy each other’s company helps strengthen the relationships that make our team so special.

Here’s to the wonderful people who bring so much care, dedication, and heart to Grateful Care ABA every day. We’re lucky to have you! 🫶

Sometimes, a little choice can make a big difference. 💙 Visual choice boards give kiddos a clear way to communicate what they want while helping them feel involved in everyday routines.

Try starting small. During the morning routine, show your kiddo two pictures and ask, “Blue shirt or green shirt?”

Giving two clear options can make the next step feel more predictable while encouraging communication and autonomy.

Over time, you can bring choice boards into snack time, play, and other familiar routines.

Save this idea and try it during one of your kiddo’s routines this week! ✨

The school day may be over, but your kiddo might still be carrying a lot from it. 😮‍💨

After hours of learning, listening, socializing, and taking in a busy environment, coming home can be the moment when they finally need to decompress.

A calm, predictable after-school routine can give kiddos the time and space they need to reset before moving into the rest of their evening.

Swipe through for 3 gentle ways to make that transition home feel a little easier. And remember, you know your kiddo best. Follow their cues and find the rhythm that works for your family. 🫶

For kiddos, play is already part of how they explore, connect, and make sense of the world. 🧸🧩

That’s why bringing learning into play can feel so natural. A favorite game, toy, or activity can create space to communicate, make choices, work through challenges, and practice new skills while staying engaged in something they genuinely enjoy.

At Grateful Care ABA, we follow each kiddo’s interests and create space for learning that feels encouraging, comfortable, and fun.

“Can we read it again?” 💫 That favorite story your kiddo knows by heart can still offer something new each time you open it. Reading together can encourage communication, strengthen attention, introduce new vocabulary, and create plenty of opportunities for connection.

This National Read a Book Day, follow your kiddo’s lead. Let them pick the book, turn the pages, point to what catches their eye, or tell the story in their own way.

However storytime looks in your home, enjoy the adventure together! 🌈

A milestone worth celebrating! 🎓💙

We’re so proud to celebrate one of our kiddos who recently graduated and is preparing to transition into a school setting.

This is such an exciting new chapter filled with new experiences, opportunities to learn, and plenty of possibilities ahead. We’re honored to have been part of their journey and to celebrate all the growth, progress, and moments that brought them to this point.

Here’s to the next adventure! 🎉💙

What does learning look like to your kiddo? 💛

Sometimes, it's building with blocks. Sometimes, it's pretending, exploring, or discovering something new through play.

Every playful moment is an opportunity for kiddos to build confidence, strengthen communication, and develop everyday skills in a way that feels fun and meaningful.

At Grateful Care ABA, we believe some of the most valuable learning happens when we meet kiddos where they are and build on what they already love.
