Areola reconstruction tattoos are also offered. Lexy is also a certified Reiki practioner, and likes to incorporate this into each session to assist clients with anxiety, pain management, and healing. Intuitive tattoo sessions are also offered that combine a deeper collaboration and Reiki session between the artist and client, along with a tarot or oracle card reading. “This beautiful soul waited a long time to capture the sailboat he loved on skin. This piece represents his love of the sea, where he and his wife met (and lived!), and the idea of stillness and connection, even when the waters aren’t always smooth. My client wanted it to look light and almost atmospheric, with the understanding that he’ll eventually need a retouch to keep it from fading away. I love how this one turned out! We used her original tool as a blueprint, reworking the handle to create balance—pairing the clean, structured lines of the blade with the organic flow of a woodgrain grip. As it heals, the grays will soften and settle beautifully into the skin. I love projects like this—layers upon layers of meaning.”
