Managing diabetes isn't about changing everything overnight. It's the little things you do every day that really add up.
Here are five habits that are worth making part of your routine:
Exercise
Whether it's a walk, a bike ride, or a workout at the gym, regular movement helps. If you're short on time, a 15-minute EWOT (Exercise with Oxygen Therapy) session can be a great way to get more out of your workout.
Nutrition
Think plenty of vegetables, lean protein, whole grains, healthy fats, and portions that leave you feeling satisfied, not stuffed.
Stress Management
A few minutes of deep breathing, stretching, meditation, or simply stepping away for a break can make a bigger difference than you think.
Sleep
Getting enough quality sleep helps your body recharge and supports healthier blood sugar levels, too.
Consistency
You don't have to do everything perfectly. The goal is to make healthy choices more often than not.
Every healthy choice counts. Start with one, build from there, and keep going.
